Several problems in unannounced visits to hotels

Police stations in Beijing do not allow foreign police officers to take up their posts, but not all police officers in Beijing are from Beijing. Many foreign policemen are transferred from the army to the police station or the public security bureau. I don't quite understand whether I can stay in a hotel with a foreign ID card. The Public Security Bureau asked me to stay in the hotel with my valid ID card and register in real-name registration system. Several people can be registered by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau or a separate or territorial police station to make unannounced visits regardless of time. It depends on their work plan and arrangement.
