2. United States International Long Distance Calling Card

There are mainly the following ways to make international calls via mobile phone:

1. Direct dial: This method requires a mobile phone card to operate The commercial business hall has opened international long-distance services. Usually, you need to pay a deposit to open international long-distance services. You can bring your ID card to the business office to apply for it. After activating this service, you can directly enter the number with your mobile phone to dial. For example, if you want to make a call in the United States, just enter 1****. People say that international calls are expensive, which means making international calls in this way is very expensive. If they have no choice but to make international calls, most people won't choose this option.

2. IP calling card dialing: Compared with direct dialing, IP calling card will be cheaper to make international calls. Nowadays, the more famous IP cards for making international calls are China Unicom S1799, China Telecom S1791, etc. Many IP cards can make international calls, but the charges are slightly different. As for the use of IP cards, it is not difficult. Typically this is the access number, area code and telephone number. For example, if you use China Telecom to dial the international number s1791, you can use your mobile phone to enter 1791.

3. Callback card: Many people may have never heard of this card. It is a way to make international long distance calls, and the charges are much cheaper than IP cards. There are two ways to use this card: computer dialing and mobile phone dialing. No matter which dialing method you use, you end up making calls on your cell phone. Of course, not all cards have these two dialing methods, but some well-known cards do, such as Shanshan Card. Generally, with this kind of card, an access number is dialed first, and then the other party hangs up and calls back. After answering, enter the number to make a call.

4. Network software calls: Only computers can be used to call network software. Nowadays, many network software mobile phones have mobile versions, such as Skype (skype.tom.com), Alitong, KC, etc. After installing the software on your mobile phone, you can also make international long-distance calls. The charges are the same as what the computer does, but you need to be aware of the latency. Calls on the mobile version of the software generally require traffic charges. It is recommended to make calls in places with WIFI. Note: 1. The format of the number input: No matter which dialing method is used, the format of the number input must be the international prefix code, the called country code and the called number. For example, if you dial the US number 281***, then you need to enter the international prefix code and the called number of the US area code 1, which is 1281***. 2. If the first digit after the country code is zero, it should be omitted (except for special areas). For example, if you want to dial an Australian mobile phone number 4***, then the number format you want to enter should be: international prefix Australian area code 61 called number, that is, 614****.

3. How to apply for a U.S. tourist phone card

Crew visa is a non-immigrant visa and needs to be applied for at the corresponding embassy or consulate.

Taking the United States as an example, you need to apply for a crew member (Category D visa): Foreign crew members and crew members serving on ships or flights in the United States need to apply for a crew/crew visa.

Crews of flights or vessels transiting the United States or its territorial waters are generally required to hold a Transit/Crew Visa (C-1/D).

However, in some cases, an applicant may only require a D visa.

If working on a ship in the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf area, seafarers can apply for their corresponding B-1 visa instead of a crew visa.

Crews should also apply for a B-1/B-2 visa if they are in rotation between flights or ship routes (i.e. personal/vacation time) and if they intend to enter the United States.

If you apply for C-1/D visa and B-1/B-2 visa at the same time, you only need to pay one visa application fee.

To apply for other C, D or C-1/D visas, the applicant should prove to the visa officer:

1. The purpose of entry is limited to transit or crew/crew work.

2. Unless you obtain a short-term work visa in advance, you will not be employed with pay in the United States.

3. Only plan to stay for a specific period of time.

4. Have enough funds to pay for all your expenses during your stay in the United States.

If you need to apply for a transit/crew visa, you need to pay an application fee of US$160 and submit the following materials:

1. Non-immigrant Visa Electronic Application Form (DS-160) .

2. A valid passport for travel to the United States must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in the United States (except for countries with special agreements that enjoy visa exemption).

If the passport contains more than one person, each visa applicant will need to submit a separate application.

3. One (1) 2-inch x 2 (5.1 cm x 5.1 cm) photo taken within the last six months.

4. If a visa is issued, there may be a visa reciprocity fee, depending on the applicant's nationality.

5. If applicable, a seafarer's employment contract will continue to be valid after the expiry of the seafarer's seaman's certificate and will effectively replace all seafarers' previously used S-certificates.

If the seafarer can show his loss, he must submit a formal loss report. The application process is as follows:

Step 1 Complete the Non-immigrant Visa Electronic Application Form (DS-160).

The second step is to pay the visa application fee.

Make an appointment for an interview. To schedule an interview, you need to provide the following three pieces of information:

1. Passport number;

2. The number on the visa application payment receipt;

3. The ten (10) digit barcode number on the DS-160 confirmation page.

Step 4: Go to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General for an interview at the agreed time. Please bring a printout of the appointment form, a printout of the DS-160 confirmation page, a recent photo and all old and new passports.

If any of the above materials are missing, the application will not be accepted.

4. UK Travel Phone Card

You can use O2’s online package for £6 per month, or buy a package for £10 or £15 per month.

There are several ways: 1. Recharge 10 pounds, pay as you go, and can be sold at roadside shops. After purchasing the coupon, top it up. The coupon and phone number will appear in the recharge list. Then you call, which will let you choose a different package. You can choose the package you like. 2. Log in to the O2 website, recharge online, and choose a package. 3. If you have any questions, you can call the O2s customer service number, 444, select manual service and ask the other party to manually activate it, or go to the O2s store for consultation. But I personally feel that O2 is not very cost-effective if it is online. Although O2s

5. What kind of phone card can I get in the United States?

Foreign individuals who want to buy domestic mobile phone cards can go through the three major domestic telecommunications networks. Operator's online software for purchase.

There are many ways for family members to return home and buy domestic mobile phone cards due to the epidemic abroad.

First, you can let your family members at home buy it for overseas express delivery; second, you can search for China Unicom, Telecom, and China Mobile software on foreign mobile phones, purchase and activate the software online. You can then mail it to your current overseas address at your own expense.

6. Guide to U.S. Travel Phone Cards

If you want to apply for a U.S. number or a number in another country, it is recommended to use AntTone. It is particularly difficult to apply for a number in some countries now, whether it is a virtual number or a physical card number. Some countries require a local address to apply, but to apply for a US address, you can try anttone. I applied a few months ago and the cheaper price plan was $4.99.

: 7. US phone card rates

1. Buy a 3G Internet card, 5G per day, about 200 yuan each. There are traffic restrictions and it is more expensive.

2. Open international roaming so that mobile phones can be used not only domestically but also abroad. However, the communication charges for international roaming are relatively expensive. Just like China Mobile, you need to consult the counter first, and then pay a deposit of 500 yuan to activate the international roaming service. The Internet fee is 1 yuan per megabyte, and the daily limit is 50 megabits. If you use the internet a lot, you're likely going to be disconnected every night.

3. Rent a portable WiFi. For friends who travel with laptops, smartphones or iPads, renting portable WiFi is the first choice.

Here, I recommend you rent a portable WiFi to roam the world. They have counters in many domestic airports, making it very convenient to rent. You can also rent it on their official website or Taobao, it only costs 20 yuan a day, and there is no traffic limit. The most important thing is that it can be used with friends without slowing down the Internet speed.

8. Go to the United States and get a phone card

You don’t need to buy a phone card now. Activate roaming and traffic, and call customer service. How much traffic/day can I use? American phone cards are quite expensive, and the data traffic is not very high. When traveling in the United States, the signal is very poor in many places! You can also chat using WeChat. How convenient!

By the way, I would like to give you a strategy! America’s West Loop!

1. Self-driving - suitable for guests who have been to countries such as the United States or Canada (and the number is small and can be driven with one car), are familiar with local traffic rules, are confident that they can drive by themselves, and have a certain foundation in English. Book a car online with a Chinese driver’s license, translator and credit card!

Advantages: If you love self-driving, you can do whatever you want and save money!

Disadvantages: I feel a little worried about preparing a detailed guide and setting up the navigation in advance, and I have lost some of the ease and enjoyment that travel should have!

2: Traveling with a group (bus) (not recommended) is economical and affordable, but the scenic spots in the basic itinerary are just a quick tour and follow orders. (I basically sleep in the car every day) As the saying goes, sleep in the car, take pictures when you get out, and know nothing when you get home is true! It is impossible to stay for a while at your favorite attraction. The stay time at all attractions (not free) is basically self-care, fast food, etc. Or a group meal from a travel agency (it definitely doesn’t taste good. American and Chinese buffets all have the same taste and variety). Hotels are basically small hotels or apartments, and they are basically far away from the city center!

3: Customized independent travel (recommended) The current way of traveling is different from before. The best way is to VIP customized free travel. You can search for the American city you want to visit from (Huangbaoche, Meatball Earth, 8 Little Pigs, etc.). )App travel platform and find a local tour guide you think is good to communicate with. The local tour guide will communicate with you based on your time, travel date, where you want to go, hotel grade, distance, etc. Customize your own VIP itinerary because the directors have their own cars. Choose directors with that type of car based on your number and see real reviews from directors and past guests too! This way of traveling is the best, most worry-free, most professional, and the best way to feel the true meaning and fun of travel!

9. Overseas travel calling card

Please refer to:

1. If you want to use a different mobile phone to roam in China without Idon' I don't want to change my mobile phone number , you need to change your phone.

2. The charges are very complicated: roaming charges, international long-distance call charges, Internet access charges, and international traffic. These fees are high.

3. Regarding GPRS, this is mainly for GSM networks. The GSM network mobile phone mode of foreign operators can be used in China (of course, the premise is the above agreement). 4. There are many foreign operators, such as three in China (China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom), three in the United States, such as ATT, and three in Japan and South Korea. Different operators have different mobile phone standards.

10. Which is the best travel phone card to buy in the United States

First of all, you can choose one of WiFi and phone cards. In fact, phone cards are almost the same as wifi. They can access the Internet and make phone calls. Att cards may be slightly cheaper. I remember those Gs seemed to cost about 50 yuan, but only one mobile phone could access the Internet. WiFi is about tens of yuan a day, with unlimited traffic. You can compare which one is more cost-effective.

If your domestic phone card has international roaming enabled, the daily traffic is now capped at 25 yuan and reduced to 40G. That's enough. You don't have to buy another card. I am a telecom operator. Before arriving in the United States, I enabled international roaming and data traffic. In the past, you just needed to turn on the traffic to use it. Maximum 25 yuan per day.

If it is a short-term travel or virtual operator card, virtual operators are very popular internationally, and there are some in the United States, such as H2O Wireless, TPO, lycamobile, etc. First, look at which operator it uses for the network. Generally, the price will be cheaper than that of the operator, which is normal. I recommend the American TPO card, which I bought on Taobao in the United States on May Day. Two weeks is enough ~ recommended. The biggest advantage of this card is that it is about 38 yuan cheaper, with 50GB 4G traffic and unlimited 2G traffic.

Hope this helps
