Diebu County is located in the southeast of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. Although this paradise was praised by Locke as the birthplace of Adam and Eve nearly a hundred years ago, it is still a virgin land.

Today, Diebu County was Hechuan County in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. In the second year of Wude in Tang Gaozu, it was called Jiaoshucheng before the founding of the state, and then called Diezhou.

The city is about 1000 meters long from east to west and 450 meters wide from north to south. The city wall is built according to the terrain, with an irregular pentagonal outline and an inner city in the northeast of the city. Up to now, the ruins of the ancient city still exist, and the holes and rammed soil layers on the ruins are clearly visible. A large number of painted pottery and plain pottery pieces, as well as pottery pots, stone tools, cloth tiles, rope bricks, stone axes, tooth fossils and other ancient cultural remains were found in the ruins and rammed soil layers of the castle site.
