Ding Zuode and Wuyishan

Ding Zuo had special feelings for Wuyishan before his death. Since the 1980s, he has made many trips to Wuyishan to create sketches. During his stay in Wuyishan, he wrote "Back to Bodhi" for the gate of Tianxin Yongle Temple. When he visited Wuyishan in June 1992, 65438+February 16, he also wrote the words "Spring flies and rain falls, and ancient trees are shady and cool in summer" for Zhao Qiantang, Wuyishan Villa.

When Ding Zuogang arrived in Wuyishan, he felt "a feeling of entering a fairyland". As early as 1984, after he visited Wuyi Mountain, he happily wrote the two characters "Wonderland". The inscription is ingenious, profound and thought-provoking, and it can be called a calligraphy treasure. However, with the increase in the number of visits to Wuyishan and the deepening of his understanding of Wuyishan, Ding Zuo became increasingly dissatisfied with his inscription and felt that he could not fully express the artistic conception of Wuyishan, which was "unsatisfactory". Ten years later, at a meeting of provincial agricultural bank in early 1996, he said that he would rewrite a fairyland. At this time, Wuyi forest of steles has just been built, and relevant calligraphy has been collected from famous calligraphers all over the country.

Ding Zuo was invited to write Tang Xuning's five-line poem "On Wuyi" for Wuyi Forest of Steles. When the comrades of Beilin Company asked me to select his inscription 1984 "Wonderland" into the forest of steles, Ding was very happy and felt that "I only have one wish". After careful consideration, he wrote a new "Wonderland" at the end of that year and sent it to Comrade Zhang Ximi, who collects calligraphy works in Beilin Company, with a letter attached, which shows the seriousness of an old artist.
