2. Jiuzhai Tourist Route Guide

Start from Shuangliu, take the Ring Expressway to Pidu District, then take the Chengguan Expressway, then take Dujiangyan, Wenchuan, Maoxian or Lixian, Songpan County to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area.

1: Starting from Chengdu, passing through Dujiangyan, Wenchuan and Maoxian County , Songpan, to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, the total distance is 440 kilometers. Along the way, you can visit Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Front and Back Mountains, Diexi Haizi and other places of interest.

2. Route: Starting from Chengdu, it is about 800 kilometers from Wenchuan, Lixian, Miyaluo, Hongyuan, Waqie, Chuanzhusi to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Along the way you can see beautiful views of the prairie.

People who go to Jiuzhaigou for self-driving tours come from different cities, some from Chengdu, some from Chongqing, some from Xi'an, and some tourists from other places. Different starting points lead to different routes along the way, resulting in different costs on the way. Take Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou and Xi'an-Jiuzhaigou as examples. Tourists in Chengdu often choose the Ninth Ring Road, which is 913 kilometers long. The fuel cost for an ordinary car is about 480 yuan, and the toll fee is about 50 yuan. If you start from Xi'an, the total journey is about 712 kilometers, and the fuel cost plus tolls will be about 380 yuan.

Although there are differences in the cost of the two routes on the road, the cost after arriving in Jiuzhaigou is roughly the same, mainly including food, accommodation, entertainment, etc. The level of catering in Jiuzhaigou is relatively high. If all meals are in the scenic area, it will cost about 80-150 yuan per person per day. Some hotels can provide breakfast, which can save some money. In terms of accommodation, it is mainly concentrated in Mizoguchi and Kawazuji Temple. The price of ordinary accommodation in the off-season is usually between 200 and 500 yuan, while the cost of better accommodation in the peak season is relatively high, around 500 to 1,000 yuan. As for the tickets, they only cost 80 yuan in the off-season, and the price in the sightseeing car is also 80 yuan, which is relatively cheap. The peak season ticket costs 220 yuan, and the sightseeing bus costs 90 yuan.

Generally, it will not be less than 1,000 yuan. Under the same conditions, the cost from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou is higher than that from Xi'an. The shortest route is 849 kilometers, takes 13 hours and 11 minutes, and costs about 306 yuan on the highway. The latter two options take 13 hours and 43 minutes, and the high-speed fee is 324 yuan. The third option takes 14 hours and 47 minutes, covers a total distance of 1,033 kilometers, and costs 386 yuan on the expressway. You can choose your own route based on your needs.

Starting point: Enshi

1) Start from the starting point south, drive 50 meters, and turn left into Shifu Road.

2) Drive along Shifu Road for 310 meters, facing Aviation Avenue/Minzu Road, and turn right ahead into Shifu Road.

3) Drive along Shifu Road for 50 meters and turn right at the first exit into Aviation Avenue.

4) Drive along Aviation Avenue for 560 meters and turn right into Minzu Road.

5) Drive along Minzu Road for 3.1km and go straight on the ramp. 6) Drive along the ramp for 1.6 kilometers and go straight into Ryan Expressway.

7) Drive along the Ryan Expressway for 120 meters and go straight onto the Ryan Expressway.

8) Drive along Ryan Expressway for 6.9 kilometers, turn slightly right and take the ramp. 2. Drive 960 meters along the ramp and go straight into the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway.

3. Drive 244.7 kilometers along the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, go to Linshui/G42/Guang'an/Nanchong, and turn right onto the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway.

8. Drive along the Blue Sea Highway. After crossing the Luojiayan Bridge for about 1.5 kilometers, go straight onto the Blue Sea Expressway.

9. Drive 258.2 kilometers along the Blue Sea Expressway, at the Yujiawan/Duyao/G212 exit, turn slightly left and take the ramp. 10. Follow the ramp for 1.1 kilometers, then turn right forward onto G212.

11. Drive along G212 for 9.8 kilometers, pass Nichiping on the right for about 190 meters, then turn right forward and enter the Qilin Temple Tunnel.

12. Drive along the Kirin Temple Tunnel for 350 meters, turn right ahead and enter G212.

13. Drive along G212 for 25.1 kilometers, pass through Hongmaopo on the left, and go straight into the Hongcaopo Tunnel.

14. Drive along the Hongcaopo Tunnel for 220 meters, turn right and enter G212.
