Yancheng Museum is a famous tourist destination of Yancheng Museum.

Yancheng Museum, founded in 196 1, is a local comprehensive museum that studies and reflects the history of Yancheng. The site of the museum is located atNo. 1 18, Jianjun West Road, Hugong City. Taishan Temple, the former military headquarters rebuilt in 2000, moved in after the "teaching building" was rebuilt. In addition, the affiliated Calligraphy Art Museum is located in the former site of the old museum at No.80, Xicang Lane, downtown.

The total construction area of the museum is 2600 square meters, of which the exhibition room area is about 1600 square meters. The staff of the whole library 19, and the curator responsibility system is implemented. There are offices, security offices, exhibition offices, storage offices, archaeological offices, cultural relics protection research offices and Hu Gongshi Calligraphy and Art Museum.

Our library has specially set up the "Zhao Tailai Cultural Relics Museum" for this purpose, and Mr. Wang Guangying wrote the name of the museum.

Relatives of Hu Gongshi, a famous calligrapher in Yancheng, donated more than 200 works and materials to the museum before his death, and specially established the "Hu Gongshi Calligraphy Art Museum", for which Mr. Zhao Puchu wrote the name.

The museum basically displays Yancheng Historical and Cultural Relics Exhibition-From Beach to City, Zhao Tailai Donation Cultural Relics Exhibition, Zhao Tailai Donation Religious Cultural Relics Exhibition, Hu Gongshi Calligraphy Art Exhibition, Southern Song Dynasty Prime Minister Lu Xiufu Historical Materials Exhibition, etc., which mainly reflects the Tibetan Buddhist painting Thangka, and also reflects the management and development of sea salt production in past dynasties and the influence of sea salt history on Yancheng's politics, economy and history.
