2018 Lake Begacha Free Travel Guide
Lake Baikal is located in Siberia. It is currently the deepest freshwater lake in the world and has a very high reputation. The climate here is cold all year round, but Lake Baikal has also formed its own unique microclimate over thousands of years, and the tourism industry is still quite developed. The following is a guide for free travel to Lake Baikal in 2018.
"How many years later, the past has gone with the clouds; the chaotic ice and snow cannot contain tenderness. In this life, this time is too rare to prove the deep love of the melted ice and snow; think that one day, the past will reappear; We linger on the shores of Lake Baikal."
Li Jian's song "Borders of Lake Baikal" makes people long for a walk on the shores of beautiful Lake Baikal, or have a beautiful encounter here! Lake Baikal is known as the "Bright Eye of Siberia". Lake Baikal has a unique charm in winter!
Lake Baikal is located in Irkutsk and Buryatia in southern Siberia, Russia, 111 kilometers from the Mongolian border. It is the deepest and largest freshwater lake in the world.
The lake is rich in species and is a treasure house of rich natural resources and biodiversity. There are 1,085 species of plants and 1,550 species of animals living here, 80 of which are endemic, as well as many of the world's only freshwater endemics. It is known as the "Russian Galapagos Islands". The lake is also one of Russia's main fishing grounds.
This season, when you go to Lake Baikal, you can see the lake water gently lapping the shore, kissing the fluffy snow and turquoise ice. The setting sun splashes colors wantonly on the water in the sky, dazzling the ever-changing colors, and gradually sinks into the horizon.
I think everything there is pure. Forget all the unpleasantness I have experienced this year and let nature purify our body and mind!
At this moment, hold his (her) hand tightly, close your eyes, and enjoy this moment quietly; or play and sing "Lake Baikal" to feel Li Jian's mood and feelings at that time!
A must-have experience to go to Lake Baikal in winter
Look at the blue ice concentrated in the deep lake.
As the beginning of winter, the first snow basically arrives at the end of October every year. Although it has snowed at the end of October, due to the huge water body of Lake Baikal and the slow freezing, it will not completely freeze until New Year's Day. Especially in mid-to-late December, it will be completely frozen until New Year's Day, which is the most beautiful season for Baikal rime. The entire several kilometers long road from entering the lake area to reaching the center of Listvyanka is lined with spectacular rime blooms on both sides.
From January to May every year, Lake Baikal freezes all the time. The ice layer is 90 centimeters thick and the average temperature is minus 38 degrees Celsius. However, its beauty would not be reduced by half.
There are some bubbles hidden under the blue ice. Maybe you can go deep into Lake Baikal. If you pry open the ice, you can glimpse creatures that are hard to touch.
Looking along the road, the sky coats this ice-crystal transparent lake with wet blue, like an oil painting. Depth and depth extend apparently to infinity. It's not like Salt Lake or Antarctica. It is an indescribable grandeur that only belongs to mysterious Siberia.
Among them, the most attractive thing is: outside the Irkutsk University of Language and Culture, there is a sign saying I am from China, and I will practice speaking with you. In less than 10 minutes, a Russian girl will definitely come to you to practice speaking. It should also be noted that since it is a small city, you need to contact the hotel in advance to pick up the car. Tonight we stayed at the Irkutsk City Hotel, which is considered a youth hostel. I'm not sensitive to the price of 10 rooms, so I thought it was cheap, 600 rubles per person. The decoration is relatively new and the facilities are relatively neat. This room has two bathrooms and a shower room. The boss is a divorced young woman, good-looking and a nice person. The next morning, she made us breakfast, oatmeal cookies, and coffee/black tea.
The next morning, we were taken to Olkhon Island from our residence by a pre-arranged minibus for 700 rubles per person. If we go to the station by car, it only costs 500 rubles. However, considering the time and unfamiliarity with the city, we chose car transfer, and the hotel can be booked.
At 9 a.m., a Fiat that looked like Iveco appeared on time.
In addition to us, there was an uncle from Hong Kong and a younger brother from Singapore in the car. Later, a Norwegian engineer and several Russian locals came up one after another.
The car is not big, but it has a lot of luggage. It was packed. The journey takes about 5 hours, with a break in between. It's hard to sit. Fortunately, the scenery along the way was beautiful, and it was fun for the six of us to talk and laugh together.
We stayed at Nikita’s hotel in Olkhon for 3 nights for 2,700 rubles per person, including three meals. The location is very good, you can see the scenery when you go out. The facilities are general and popular, and it is very convenient to contact activities through the front desk. We stayed in a 4-person room and a 2-person room. A slight disadvantage is that the bathroom and shower in this room are not in the house, so you need to go out for a few steps. There are many dogs and cats here, some are beautiful and some are ugly, but they are all obedient.
When I arrived in the afternoon, I took a stroll. It was really beautiful, and the trip over the next few days confirmed this. Dinner is provided by the hotel, which is relatively simple but rich. When eating, there are always a few cute breasts walking around you, including big breasts, small breasts, black breasts, and yellow breasts (how can they look a little evil?
You can meet many amazing people in this place, such as two handsome French guys who traveled to Europe from their hometown and came to Russia on second-hand motorcycles, a German girl who rode a bicycle all the way here and there, and a tourist who stopped here. The handsome French photographer who came down to work as a waiter, etc.
The next day, the original plan was to participate in the water conservancy project, but we couldn't find enough people to do this project, so we took the second day. The content of the day was a free trip, but I didn’t get lost at all, because Olkhon Island is very big and walking was full of fun. I participated in the sunset viewing project on the boat for 600 rubles per person. It’s a bit cold and I need some clothes.
On the third day, we took a bus to the northern part of Olkhon Island. The whole trip started at 10 am and returned at around 5 pm. If you get car sick, please be careful. Prepare motion sickness medicine, because it is really worth the trip.
It feels good to take a few photos.
It is worth mentioning that lunch at noon. , because of the language barrier, I lost my way for a while, thinking that I would rely on the beautiful scenery to satisfy my hunger. The boys in the same company had already started looking for moss and other things according to Teacher Bei’s instructions. It turned out that the Russian driver had already prepared it. After a delicious lunch, vegetable salad, buttered bread, fish soup, black tea, and desserts similar to steamed buns, everyone devoured them without leaving a single picture behind.
When I returned to my residence in the evening, the handsome French guy told me. There was a Russian folk music performance in the concert hall at 8:30 in the evening. It was actually a small room, just outside the hotel. It was an accordion performance by a very unique Russian old man who spent about an hour. Very nice. My old man was very funny. I guess he was also a master of picking up girls when he was young, but he didn’t leave any pictures and only recorded a few videos.
On October 3, I returned to Ire. Kutsk. Book the minibus at the front desk one day in advance, 650 rubles per person. The accommodation back to Iraq is 500 rubles per person. The facilities are very old, but it is very popular. There is a Marriott Hotel nearby. , regarded as a landmark. Apart from the facilities, the only drawback of the hotel is that it is about 40-50 minutes' walk from the station, which is basically across the city of Iraq.
The minibus returns to China from Nikita. The bus was driven by a Mongolian. Fortunately, there was another couple on board, one of whom was a handsome guy who went to college in St. Petersburg, so he helped us a lot and gave us a lot. Recommendation.
We had lunch at a German restaurant 400 meters away from the station. I couldn’t objectively comment on the taste because I was very hungry. Coincidentally, the beauty sitting at the next table actually works in Shanghai and speaks Chinese very well. . Her friend also pointed out the way to Admiral, which was in the right direction. Unfortunately, she said it would take 15 minutes, but it turned out to be 50 minutes.
Yi is not a big city. It should be said that it is still very beautiful. However, I felt a little tired because I was kicked off by Olkhon Island a few days ago.
However, I was impressed by the blue sky here. It is indeed blue. In the afternoon, I took a short break and then went out and ran half a lap around Iraq. In the evening, I took a few Chechen buddies to a convenience store.
Departure to Ristevyanka on October 4th. It takes one hour by car from the bus station. There is a bus every hour and it costs 50 rubles per person. The accommodation is the Orange Tree Hotel owned by the Chinese. The only reason I chose this place is that the owner is from China. In Irkutsk, the popularity of English is not higher than in second- and third-tier cities in China. Except for the people in the hotel who can speak English, most people on the road can't, so it doesn't matter whether you speak English here. Communication basically relies on body language and calculators.
It takes an hour to drive. As soon as the group got off the car, they were attracted by the scenery here. However, I couldn't bear to be hungry, so I simply bought a big loaf of bread to satisfy my hunger while looking for orange trees. The town is small, but orange trees are hard to find. You have to walk about 500 meters from the small road about 100 meters away from the station. We stayed in a quadruple room and a two-person room for 5,000 rubles per bed. After checking in, we quickly went to the market next to the station to have dinner! Because when I was looking for orange trees just now, I was deeply attracted by the smell of barbecue at the entrance of the market town.
And the handsome waiter in this store can speak some Chinese, so I had a great time eating, but the price is not cheap, more than 500 rubles per person. It is worth mentioning that the grilled fish sold in the market is delicious and cheap, only 70 rubles a piece. Let’s eat 10 yuan a day.
After a few days of sightseeing, everyone was tired, so the original barbecue on the beach was changed to a walk. The night in the town was very quiet. When we crossed the road at 8 o'clock, there were only two of us. Listening to the sea breeze, walking along the lakeside, looking up, the starry sky feels great. But watch your feet or you'll sprain your foot like I did.
Since it was an early morning flight on the 6th, I contacted the owner of the Orange Tree and drove to the airport at 10:30 pm. I negotiated a lower price and the deal was 2,500 rubles. At noon, I packed my luggage, checked into the hotel, and started the last day of my trip. It's a pity that the folk village recommended by many people had to give up because we forgot the pronunciation of Russian. In order to have a good Chinese meal, we set out to the mountains near the Li Zhen Museum because there is an attraction on the mountain.
About 5 kilometers from the station, we came across a souvenir shop on the way. We went in and bought a bunch of small things, which filled the car.
After walking for about an hour, I finally arrived at the museum, but it was really not worth going, especially after buying a 300 ruble ticket. After about a 5-minute tour, I felt even more deeply, because the museum is very small, with the entire first floor covering less than 200 square meters. Secondly, all the captions are in Russian, you know.
The next step is to go up the mountain. You can take the cable car up to your knees, and if you don’t want to walk, you can pay 200 rubles for a round trip. The scenery on the top of the mountain was good, so a group of people took the photo again.
Dinner was served at the barbecue restaurant at noon on the 4th. After a hearty meal, I returned to the Orange Tree to wait for the bus. Several Xiong Haizi sat on the stairs for an hour before they learned that there was a large activity room on the third floor where they could also sing karaoke, but we didn't know how to adjust the equipment, so we just watched TV and surfed the Internet.
At 10:30, Manager Guo dropped us off on time, and we arrived at the airport in about 45 minutes. There was a little accident on the road. A car in the opposite lane struck a pedestrian on the side of the road. Judging from the sound, it was basically saved.
The ticket exchange, customs clearance and security check were all very fast. So the next step is to wait for this trip to Lake Baikal to end.
Review:
1. Language. Most people in Iraq do not understand English, and there is not much tourism development. Almost all road signs are in Russian, so it’s important to have a strategy, body language and a calculator ahead of time. However, people in the hotel speak English, so it is useful to know English here, and you can chat with friends from many other countries, so it is always right to study hard.
2. Temperature, at least in the last few days we are here, we can only wear T-shirts and ordinary jackets during the day, and we need to add another layer at night. Maybe it’s God’s mercy towards us Xiong Haizi. The weather has been nice and always sunny.
3. The price, I’ve never been to a donkey meat shop, so I can’t compare.
But compared with domestic prices, the prices are lower than those in Shanghai and Beijing. For example, the per capita consumption of several restaurants we have visited is 300-500 rubles; the juice and chocolate in convenience stores are cheaper than in China; and the star-rated hotels are not occupied. As far as hotels are concerned, bunks cost 500-800 rubles per person.
4. After catching up, there is a train around the lake. It is said to be beautiful, but I didn’t know the departure location and time, so I gave up. The security situation is unclear. After 9pm, the roads are basically empty. I was afraid to go to nightclubs in Iraq because of the language barrier.
5. Miscellaneous, the attached pictures are all randomly found from my photos. In addition, I don’t have a SLR and I don’t like photography, so the effect I took is far less beautiful than the Lake Baikal I saw with my own eyes.
Finally, here is a family photo and my own profile photo, both taken at Lake Baikal.
Have a high-calorie Russian dinner.
Russian-style Western food does not have a gorgeous, noble, or inaccessible "appearance". On the contrary, it is very simple, natural and approachable. The fragrant meat patties, crispy pickles, golden fried potato chips, and creamy desserts make people feel friendly at first sight.
A Russian-style dinner consists of many dishes that are usually paired well and in a clear order of priority. After tasting it carefully, you will find that Russian cuisine is actually very elegant, but not overly ostentatious and showy. Like a nobleman whose glory has been washed away, there is still an innate nobility and reserve in his composure.
Wander around the city center of Irkutsk.
Irkutsk has many attractions. As we all know, there is a sightseeing route in the city called the "Green Line" (Russian: ).
This Green Line, hereinafter referred to as GL, includes There are 30 scenic spots such as churches, museums, ancient buildings, city squares, and city statues, with a total length of about 5km.
