Qing Qing Qian Dian Yun Kunming Journey Shilin Tian She Wonders

Along the highway from Kunming to Lvliang 120 kilometers, you come to Lunan Stone Forest Scenic Area, which is known as the "Wonder of the World".

Here, the stone peaks gather and stalagmites cluster, such as swords and halberds inserted into the air, which is as vast as a forest. Between the right peaks, the spring water is clear, the winding path under the rock is secluded and there are many natural caves. The Tongzhi of Yunnan during the reign of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty wrote: "The rock is tens of meters high and can be climbed. Among them, there are many strange stones, such as thousands of teams riding, dangerous eaves caves, and if there are nine strange caves. Its color is blue, beautifully inlaid, and a book is hard to find. There is an undercurrent, cold as snow. " On the stone wall of a cliff cave in Dashi forest area, there is a song called "Shilin Song": "Where does the strange stone fly? Filling sinuses is exquisite. Dense ridges and ridges are lined with iron riders, and winding streams connect thousands of families. The cliff hole locks the jade door layer by layer, and the careful bird climbs hard. I wonder if Ziyun fell from the sky, but Wu Ding stayed on earth. The dangerous peak is really ingenious, and the ball is full of beautiful things. There is a clear spring flowing in the middle, and the old vines wear moss marks on the wall. " Describe the wonders of Shilin. The "first-line clear spring" mentioned in the poem merges into a long and narrow Jianfengchi not far from the cliff cave, which is a famous scenic spot of Shilin.

God drove the stone into the forest.

Legend has it that Lunan Stone Forest is formed by stones from gods. A long time ago, Ge Zishen came to southern Shandong and saw the Sani people of Yi nationality eating coarse cereals, bitter buckwheat and sheepskin coats. He wanted to block the water in Nanpanjiang, open up fertile fields in southern Shandong and plant rice for Sani people to eat. He picked up a load of dirt overnight and came to a group of stones with a whip to get to Nanpanjiang before the cock crows at dawn. That night, a Sani grandmother got up in grinding bean curd in the middle of the night and suddenly heard the rumbling sound outside. She looked out through the crack of the door and saw a big stone rolling down the mountain. She was frightened and wanted to ask her daughter who was singing in the "CCBA" (the place where Sani young men and women met) to accompany her. She remembered her daughter saying that the cock would come back when it flapped its wings. She used her quick wits and picked up a dustpan and slapped it hard. The nearby roosters thought that other roosters were flapping their wings, one by one unwilling to lag behind, flapping their wings and making a "wow" cry. The rolling stone suddenly heard the cock flapping its wings and crowing, and stopped to listen, thinking that the cock was cursing them and did not dare to move. My brother flew into a rage from the gods, raised his whip and whipped the stone, and the stone simply stayed on the ground. My brother took a proud step from that day on, and the pole on his shoulder snapped and the soil fell off. The brothers left, the gods sighed, and those stones became stone forests. They were divided into two pieces, which I drew from God. My brother has become a "double-shouldered mountain" since he had the burden of a fairy.

Yunnan Shilin

Shanshan responded to Ashima

On the shore of a pool of blue waves in Xiaoshi forest area, there is a tall and graceful stone peak, and there is a mountain peak behind it, which looks like a girl carrying a basket from a distance. It is said to be the incarnation of the Sani girl Ashima. Once upon a time, in Adi, where Sani people lived, there lived Mr. and Mrs. Grurimin. They have a son and a daughter. My son is called Ahei, who looks like a tall and straight pine tree, and my daughter is called Ashima, who looks like a beautiful flower. Ashima became a well-known girl when she was seventeen or eighteen. Rich and powerful Hot Bubala wanted to marry Ashima as a daughter-in-law, but Ashima refused, so Hot Bubala took Ashima away while Ahei was herding sheep in the distance, and Ashima was not put into a black prison for this. Ahei went home when he heard the news, and immediately pursued his sister. Chi closed the iron gate and didn't let Hei in. He wants to sing with Ahibi. The two of them sang for a day and a night, and Ah Hei won, so Ah Zhi had to open the door to let Ah Hei in. Azhi also pointed out that Ahei won more than just cutting down trees, grafting trees, sowing seeds and picking up seeds. They set the tiger back to the mountain and hurt Ah Hei. The tiger was shot and killed by Ah Hei, but Bubala still refused to let Ashima go. Aheira bows and arrows, and shoots three arrows in succession. One arrow hit the gate, two arrows hit the pillar of the first house, and three arrows hit the altar. No one in Bubala's family can pull out an arrow, so they have to beg Ashima, "As long as you pull out these arrows, you will surely turn home." Ashima called her brother's name, and pulling an arrow was like gently picking flowers. So the brother and sister met again and went home together. Hot Barbara is still unwilling. They colluded with the cliff gods of Twelve Cliffs and let the wind and rain turn the river at the foot of the cliff into a big river, and Ashima fell into a whirlpool. Ahei struggled to find Ashima in the flood. After it clears up, I can't find Ashima anymore. Ahei shouted: "Ashima! Ashima! Ashima! " Someone at the top of the Twelve Cliffs answered with the same voice. At that time, people saw Ashima standing on the Twelve Cliffs. She became an echo, and she responded whatever you called her. To this day, as long as someone shouts at the cliff: "Ashima!" The whole stone forest seems to have the same voice: "Ashima ..."

Song and Dance Torch Festival

June 24th every year is the Torch Festival of Sani people and the busiest day in Shilin. On this day, all men, women and children came from all directions to the long lake at the foot of Guishan to celebrate the festival. During the day, watch bullfighting and wrestling. After the game, the winning wrestlers hung red flags around the venue. Boys are carrying big sanxian and holding bamboo flutes, while girls are carrying flower bags and dancing big sanxian heartily. At night, countless torches make up the starry sky on the earth, and a string of songs echoes in the night sky for a long time. The young man and the girls came to the ravine to fall in love and immerse themselves in happiness.

Torch Festival is a traditional festival of Yi, Bai, Naxi, Hani, Lisu, Lahu and Pumi nationalities. It usually lasts for one to three days, from June 24 to 26 of the lunar calendar. Torch Festival was also called "Chinese Valentine's Day" in ancient times (according to the general law, the stars belong to the sky at the end of the twelfth lunar month, but in the early years, southwest nationalities used the handle of Beidou to point down and suck up to divide it, so wax was called "Chinese Valentine's Day" and fu was also called "Chinese Valentine's Day"), and its custom was recorded in ancient books. It was first seen in Jing Li's Yunnan Annals in the Yuan Dynasty: "On the evening of June 24th, the torch was lit with a high pole." Records of Yunnan in Wanli Period of Ming Dynasty, Nanzhao unofficial history, notes of Ming and Qing Dynasties and local chronicles are all recorded. Yang Shen's Mid-Autumn Poems in Southern Yunnan has the sentence "Song Ming shines at noon at night, and the season of the stars belongs to the present". Xu Yinfang's "Miscellaneous Five Ponds" contains: "The festival is the evening. Every household burns trees at the same time, the room is secluded, and the poor words are whispered in the mouth. Farmers hold fire to pray for the New Year, and firewood, animal husbandry, fishing and hunting are all suitable for their own interests. ..... When the tree fell and the door lay down, the man and the woman pulled up their clothes and went too far. Everyone congratulated each other and said,' The disaster is over, and so is the foul air.' "Dali County Records" said: "Chinese Valentine's Day is also called the' Nursery Club', which uses firewood and bamboo as torches to smoke the fields and drive away cockroaches."

At present, apart from lighting the torch, different nationalities and regions have different activities. A torch should be erected in front of every household of the Yi and Bai nationalities, and a pagoda-shaped pine column fire handle surrounded by layers of dry wood and pine branches should be erected at the entrance of the village. After dinner, gongs and drums were loud, and men, women and children came to the square with rice wine, fried beans and other foods, lit torches and began to play. The old people raised their glasses and drank, while the young people sang and danced around the torch. The Yi people in southern Shandong and Guishan held wrestling and bullfighting at the same time, while the Yi people in Wuding and Luquan also carried out archery, horse racing and swinging. Lijiang Naxi teenagers hold small torches and dance around Lion Mountain, indicating that they welcome the auspicious light. According to the ancient customs of the Yi and Naxi nationalities, pine powder should be sprinkled on the torches to make the torches emit sparks and raise fragrance to express their wishes: the younger generation wishes the elders a long life, the elders wish the younger generation luck, peers scatter each other to show intimacy, and young men and women scatter each other is the beginning of love. Lisu people have an ancient habit of hunting on Torch Festival. On the night of the festival, torches are everywhere on the Yunnan Plateau, and people are singing and dancing all night.

There are many legends about the origin of Torch Festival. Hu Weiwei's revised Annals of Dali Prefecture Nanzhao unofficial history contains the legend of Anan: "In the Han and Yuan Dynasties, Yu Ye's wife Anan was the wife of Ma Nana, the chief of the county, and Ma Nana was killed by the Han general Guo Shizhong and wanted to be his wife. Nan said:' You can be a Xu Ru from three things. Make a curtain to worship the dead husband; Burn her husband's clothes and put on new clothes; Let the people of China know that I got married as a courtesy. "Loyalty, as he said, tomorrow, gather people, sacrifice Zhang's husband Song Curtain and set fire to it. When Nan hide the sword came out, she burned her husband's clothes, that is, she cut her neck and caught fire. It was also June 25th. China people mourn it and hang it with a burning torch every year. This is the so-called Chinese Valentine's Day. " "Kunming County Records" contains another legend: "Piluo Pavilion in Nanzhao sent five seals to Songming Building, lured them to burn, and then integrated them with the land. Roden wrote to his wife to seek charity and warned her husband not to go, but not to follow him. In the past, fruits were burned, and traces of charity won her husband's body. Pilog heard of his sage, wanted to entrust him with a heavy responsibility, died of charity and sealed the city, and Yunnan people burned it with torches. "Bai people in Heqing, Dali, Weishan and other places also have corresponding customs: after dinner, people run on horses in the street, symbolizing the people rushing to save Deng; The girl dyed her nails red with impatiens to commemorate the bleeding of her fingers when the charity lady planed her husband's body; Children will burn colored lines wrapped around Duanyang Festival hands on the torch, symbolizing that the shovel on Deng Imperial edict's arm is burned red. Heqing Yi people also made a model of Song Ming Lou, which was burned before the festival.

There are also many stories among the people. According to the legend of Sani people of Yi nationality, in ancient times, the God A Xiang in the sky saw people wrapping their hunger with bark and wild vegetables, so he sympathized with them and quietly scattered the seeds of five grains on the ground. From then on, people began to grow crops and their lives gradually improved. Seeing that life on the earth is about to surpass the sky, the king of heaven sent "ten great powers" (Hercules) to destroy crops. The "Top Ten Forces" also said arrogantly: "Who dares to defeat me, I don't care about human affairs." A young man named Doyle Jayaz came forward. They fell for three days and nights. The boys plucked the strings and played the flute, while the girls clapped their hands and stamped their feet to cheer for Doyle. In the end, the "Top Ten" was defeated and became a bald mountain. The heavenly king became angry from embarrassment, throwing a handful of incense ashes from the sky and turning them into countless pests, trying to eat up the crops. Sani people lit bundles of torches with pine branches and burned the pests to death. Since then, every year on June 24th in the summer calendar, Sani people will light torches to destroy pests. People also hold wrestling, bullfighting and other activities to commemorate Doyle's arrogance.

According to the Naxi legend, the Jade Emperor was jealous of the happy life on earth and ordered Vulcan to set fire to the ground. God couldn't bear to be beheaded, and a drop of his blood fell to the ground and became a child. The child told people that they could light the torch for three nights to fool the jade emperor, so there was a torch festival to commemorate the god who saved the world. Lisu legend has it that Zhuge Liang went to Weixi to teach people to grow rice and sent troops back to Sichuan to transport rice seeds. Because there were tigers and miasma on the rice road, the people lit a fire to drive the tigers away and take the soldiers back. It was June 24th, and it was later designated as Torch Festival. In recent years, some people say that the Torch Festival comes from the Yi people's worship of fire. The discovery, preservation, manufacture and use of fire are of great significance in the history of human development, which may be the original origin of Torch Festival.
