School profile Hanshan Teachers College is a Guangdong provincial undergraduate normal college with a long history and distinctive features, located in Chaozhou, a national historical and cultural city enjoying the reputation of "China's porcelain capital". The school was founded in the 29th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1903), and its predecessor can be traced back to Hanshan Bookstore built in the 5th year of Song and Yuan Dynasties (1090). It is the first batch of schools in China and the first one in Guangdong to train teachers. It was renamed on 192 1. 1949 was renamed Hanshan normal college, 1958 was upgraded to Hanshan normal college, and 1993 was upgraded to Hanshan normal college.
