After leveling, dig a ditch with a width of about 20 cm, and ridge in the ditch to plant pumpkins. The trench depth is controlled at about 18 cm. Film covering method

After the pumpkin bed is completed, it should be covered with plastic film in time. It can improve the soil's water-retaining and warming capacity, and plastic film mulching is not allowed in rainy days. It should be carried out in sunny days with high temperature, because if the film is covered at low temperature, the thermal expansion of the film will be easily blown by the wind on sunny days. Pay attention to spreading slowly when covering the film, and flatten and tighten the film. The plastic film can be completely attached to the ground, and both sides of the plastic film are pressed by the soil after covering. Leave about 20cm between ridges, and there is no film covering, which is convenient for later watering.
