The geographical environment of Shenyang

Shenyang is located in the south of Northeast China, in the middle of Liaoning Province, mainly in plains, with mountainous hills in the southeast, and the Liaohe River, Hunhe River and Xiushui River pass through the territory. It belongs to temperate semi-humid continental climate, and the annual temperature is between -35℃ and 36℃.

The average temperature is 8.3℃, the annual precipitation is 500mm and the annual frost-free period is 183 days. Affected by the monsoon, the precipitation is concentrated, the temperature difference is large, and the four seasons are distinct.

Shenyang is the largest central city in Northeast China and has the reputation of "Ruhr of the East" and "the eldest son of the country". Shenyang is the core city of Shenyang Economic Zone (Shenyang Metropolitan Area) under construction. Located in the center of Northeast Asia Economic Circle and Bohai Economic Circle, it has a complete range of industries and an important strategic position. With Shenyang as the center, within the radius of 150 km, eight large cities with basic industries and processing industries are concentrated, forming a central Liaoning urban agglomeration with rich resources, strong structural complementarity and high technical relevance. Shenyang has the largest civil airport in Northeast China, the largest railway marshalling yard in China and the highest-level "one ring and five shots" expressway network in China. Dalian Port, Yingkou New Port and Jinzhou Port, which connect the world's major ports, are all less than 400 kilometers away from Shenyang, and have unique geographical advantages. As the central city in Northeast China, Shenyang has strong absorption, radiation and driving force for surrounding areas and even the whole country. Shenyang Taoxian International Airport is one of the eight regional hub airports in China determined by the national air transport system, and it is the largest compound gateway hub airport in Northeast China. Taoxian Airport is strategically located in the center of Shenyang metropolitan area (Fushun, Tieling, Benxi, Liaoyang, Anshan, Yingkou and Fuxin). It is the airport of eight cities, 20 kilometers away from the center of Shenyang. Shenyang Taoxian International Airport is a 4E-class national first-class trunk airport, which will be expanded into a 4F-class civil airport in the future.

Taoxian International Airport has a number of domestic flights to major cities in China, and it is also a window for China's northeast region to contact other countries, including Hong Kong, Taipei, Macau, Taichung, Tokyo, Pyongyang, Seoul, Cheongju, Daegu, Busan, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Jeju, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya and Vancouver.

The T3 terminal of Taoxian Airport was put into use at 0: 00 on August 13, and the t 1 and T2 terminals were no longer used.
