Day 1: Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Siguniang Mountain

First stop: Dujiangyan scenic spot

It is of great significance to take Dujiangyan as the first stop of self-driving in western Sichuan. Qiang people use watchtowers to defend against the enemy and store food and firewood, which are generally more than ten floors. Millstone Park is a good place on the small ring line. The mylonite formed by this crustal fracture looks like a strange planet.

Or take the sightseeing bus and climb to the top of the park on foot. The sharp towering black stone forest has a panoramic view, which is magnificent and shocking. As the ramp goes down, you can go deep into many plank roads inside the inkstone, among which the plank road named "Strange Planet" is as famous as its scenery. The steep inkstone is next to the plank road, which is an excellent station for taking portraits.

The first time you go to the scenic spot, you can have a panoramic view. Shooting Moshi Mountain, grassland and snow-capped mountains in the distance (there may be no snow in that mountain when it is hot), the blue sky and white clouds are very shocking.

On the vast grassland, yaks and horses graze leisurely, with white and blue tents dotted among them, and the Yala Snow Mountain stands in the distance. Here, you can also feel the most devout and authentic Tibetan belief culture. The Tagong Temple in the south of the grassland is one of the famous temples of Tibetan Buddhism and Sakyamuni, which is dedicated to the twelve-year-old statue of Sakyamuni. According to legend, the Muyajinta, made of160kg of gold, is even more dazzling against the snow-capped mountains.

First stop: Kangding Mugecuo

Kangding Mugecuo Scenic Area is not only the hometown of Kangding love songs, but also a paradise of natural beauty. Gecuo, also known as "Ye Haizi", is the largest alpine lake in western Sichuan, with an altitude of 3,700 meters. The meltwater of Nuwa Snow Mountain is its main water source. You can take the sightseeing bus to the highest point and visit the core scenic spots in turn: Mugecuo, Yaochi Boiling Spring and Qise Sea. Of course, you must take the cableway to Camp 4, the highest point, where the unique big ice waterfall is next to you.
