The Historical Evolution of Jingjiang Town
Jingjiang Town is named after Jingjiang Hall. This place was located on the Qiantang River in ancient times and was often attacked by river tides. In order to seek peace and pray for the blessing of God Jiang, the local people built a temple called Jingjiang Hall during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736 ~ 1795).
