There are beaches in Haikou. The beaches in Haikou include Haikou Holiday Beach and Xixiu Beach. Xixiu Beach is the largest bathing beach nearest to Haikou and the earliest beach scenic spot to visit after arriving in Hainan, with a coastline of about 1200m. The left edge of the holiday beach is a lush ephedra forest belt, where resorts, hotels and playgrounds are scattered.
