Nanyue temple

Nanyue Temple is located at the end of North Street of Nanyue Ancient Town at the foot of Nanyue Mountain, facing south, with the first water in front and the Chi Di Temple behind. The temple site is rectangular and was built in the 13th year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty. After six fires, expansion and repair, the existing scale was established. The main hall was rebuilt in the style of the Forbidden City in Beijing in the eighth year of Guangxu reign (1882). * * * covers an area of 98,900 square meters and the hall is 7.2 feet high. It is the largest and most well-preserved ancient palace-style temple among the five mountains in China.

Nanyue Temple consists of four courtyards and nine floors, which has maintained the artistic essence since the Tang and Song Dynasties. The first entrance is the main entrance, also called Lingxingmen, which is made of granite. There are a pair of stone lions in front of the door, with magnificent posture. The cypress stands upright and the grass is lush. The second entrance is Kuixing Pavilion, which has a stage, a bell pavilion in the east and a drum pavilion in the west. The third entrance is three caves in the form of gates, and the middle is called Zhengchuan Gate. Inside the gate is a delicate and unique imperial tablet pavilion, which contains a huge turtle-loaded stone tablet built by the Qing sage Kangxi in the 47th year (1708) to rebuild Nanyue Temple. The inscription was written by Kangxi himself. The fourth step is Jiayingmen, which is now rebuilt. There are Nanyue Cultural Relics Library, Nanyue Painting and Calligraphy Institute and Damiao Guest House. The fifth is the Imperial Bookstore, which preserves the building components of the Song Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty. The sixth entrance is the main hall, in front of which is a large suite. The main hall stands on the stone steps of 17 grade, and the stone steps in the middle are inlaid with Youlong relief of white marble. The Hall of the Great Hero is 7.2 feet high, and it is a building with double eaves and rests on the top of the mountain. There are 72 large stone pillars inside and outside, symbolizing Nanyue 72 Peak. The roof of the temple is covered with orange glazed tiles. It is also decorated with swords, dragons and figures from the Eight Immortals. At the four corners of the cornice, bronze bells hang down, and the windows and siding under the eaves are all carved with stories of various characters or flowers, trees, birds and animals, and the back wall is painted with Dayun Long and Feng Dan. There are granite railings around the steps of the main hall, lions, unicorns, elephants and horses are carved on the stigma, and 144 pieces of white marble are embedded in the railings. There used to be a seat of Yue Shen in the temple, and all the rulers of the past dynasties gave Yue Shen titles. For example, in the early Tang Dynasty, it was called "King Si Tian Huo", in the Kaiyuan period, it was called "the true king of South Vietnam", and in the Song Dynasty, it was called "Si Di". Today's "Nanyue Sheng Di" was copied by 1983; The seventh is the bedroom; Finally, the North Gate, Zhu Sheng Palace in the east and the Temple in the west.

Martyrs shrine

Nanjing has a magnificent mausoleum built in the form of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, surrounded by green hills and pines. It stands solemnly under the incense burner peak in the north. This is a memorial hall for the martyrs who died in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

Martyrs Temple was built in 1938 and completed in 1942. It is the only large-scale martyrs cemetery in Chinese mainland to commemorate the soldiers killed in the Anti-Japanese War. The Martyrs' Temple is large in scale and built on the mountain. The overall layout is square, with low front and high back. Granite slate avenue in the shrine is connected with the 276-grade stone tablet, and the memorial archway, July 7th memorial tower, memorial hall, memorial tablet and pleasure hall are integrated from bottom to top. It is 240 meters long and 60 meters wide, and covers an area of 14400 square meters. Above the Martyrs' Shrine is the memorial forest of Chiang Kai-shek's trip to Nanyue, surrounded by green hills, and the towering Gu Song tightly surrounds the whole building in the mountains. * * * There are 13 large tombs of martyrs, which are used to bury the remains of soldiers killed in the ninth war zone. 1983 and 10 are listed as key cultural relics protection units in Hunan province, 1997 and 12 are listed as "national key cultural relics protection units" by the State Council.

Out of the north back door of Nanyue Temple, four kilometers north along the eastern mountaineering highway, you will reach the Martyrs Temple, step into the Martyrs Temple, and cross the tall and majestic Sankong Square, which is an open courtyard. Two rows of neat cypress trees are slim and graceful, during which Mabel Miao blossoms. Walking more than 100 steps along the stone road is the towering "July 7" memorial tower. Around the tower, there are four blue stone tablets with the inscription "July 7th" embedded in white marble. There are five shells pointing to the blue sky in the middle of the memorial tower, one big and four small, standing side by side, symbolizing the unity of the Han, Manchu, Mongolian, Hui and Tibetan people and resolutely resisting the Japanese war.

Further ahead is the memorial hall with stone walls and green tiles, which is simple and elegant. In the center of the memorial hall, stands a white marble tablet about six meters high. The stone tablet was placed on a platform of dodecagonal granite with tiles. The front and back of the stone tablet were originally engraved with inscriptions to commemorate the soldiers killed in the Anti-Japanese War. Behind the memorial hall, there is a 276-level stone shelf along the mountain, which is divided into two sides. Wall frame is stepped, with nine floors, bounded by memorial tablets, six floors below and three floors above. On the slope between the stone ridges on both sides, there is a green grassland, and the middle of the steps is dotted with evergreen flowers and shrubs. On both sides of the stone platform are tall green trees, which cover the stone platform tightly. In the middle of the steps of the stone frame, there are four column arches supporting the flat slate, on which is a huge spherical crown and a cypress tree on each side, symbolizing the eternal history of the martyrs. There is a stone tablet on the side of the road, and the words "Visitors come here, take off their hats" are engraved on the back to remind visitors to stand here and cherish the memory of heroes and heroes.

Go up and enjoy the hall. Xiangtang is the most attractive building in the Martyrs' Temple, with a cross-shaped floor, solid granite stone walls and a white marble gate with three arches embossed on both sides. On the upper part of the facade, six granite pillars firmly support the vermilion-shaped double eaves, and two golden rectangular horizontal plaques are hung on the middle pillar, which read "Martyrs' Temple" and "Jiang Zhongzheng". There are 36 white marble stone tablets on the back wall of Xiangtang, which are engraved with patriotic poems of past dynasties inscribed by famous contemporary calligraphers.

There are 13 CuO Martyrs' Mausoleums on the hills surrounded by pine forests in the Martyrs' Cemetery, the largest of which is the tomb where the remains of soldiers killed in the Anti-Japanese War in northern Hunan were collected by Dong Yu, the former division commander of the No.37th Kuomintang Army Gate, with a total of 2,728 * *. According to relevant documents and historical records, the 60th Division of the Kuomintang fought bloody battles with the Japanese army in Songhu, eastern Zhejiang, southern Jiangsu, northern Jiangxi, southern Hubei and Hunan, and annihilated the 9th and 6th Divisions of the Japanese invaders. In the battle, many officers and men of the division sacrificed heroically to defend the Chinese nation. There are individual tombs such as General Zheng and General Sun, and three collective cemeteries such as 74th Army, 60th Division and140th Division. The tomb is built according to the shrine, and the shrine is obvious because of the tomb. Famous mountains are loyal to each other and complement each other.

Tiantang south gate

Nantianmen is away from Nanyue Town 18 Li. After the Nanyue Temple, climb the Panshan Road, pass the Banshan Pavilion, pass the Yehou Academy not far away, and arrive at the Nantianmen with a cloud cage and fog cover.

Beneath the Nantianmen, there is a boat-shaped Wolong stone, called a flying boat, which flows like a boat in a sea of clouds. The stone archway in the Nantianmen is a towering mast. The archway is divided into middle gate and left and right Sichuan gate. Above the middle gate, the three characters "the worse gate" are engraved in red, and the left and right lintels are engraved with "walking clouds" and "raining", which are correct and eye-catching.

Nantianmen is the watershed of Nanyue Mountain, with Yang Shan as the front mountain and Yin Shan as the back mountain. The worse gate is also the link between the main peaks. Zigai Peak in the east, Smog Peak in the south, Tianzhu Peak in the west and Peak in the north. They were surrounded and scattered from their respective directions.

Zhu rongfeng

The height of Zhurongfeng in Four Wonders of Nanyue. Zhurongfeng is tall and straight, higher than the peaks of Furong, Zigui, Tianzhu, Xiangguang, Xia Yan and Furong. According to the newly compiled Records of Nanyue, the elevation of Zhurong Peak is 1289.8m, which is located at 27 degrees north latitude 18: 6 and east longitude 165438. It was named after Zhu Rong, the god of fire. According to legend, Zhu Rong was the minister of Xuanyuan Huangdi in ancient times. After human beings invented drilling wood to make fire, they couldn't save it, and they couldn't use it. Because of their proximity to fire, Zhu Rong became an expert in the management and use of fire. The Yellow Emperor appointed him as the official in charge of fire. Because he was familiar with the situation in the south, the Yellow Emperor named him Stuart, who was in charge of southern affairs. He lived in Mount Hengshan and was buried in Mount Hengshan after his death. In order to commemorate his great contribution to mankind, the highest peak of Mount Hengshan was named Zhurongfeng. As the old saying goes, "Wish" is enduring, and "Harmony" is bright. Let it be bright forever.

At the top of Zhurongfeng Mountain, there is Zhurong Hall, formerly known as the Old Holy Emperor Hall, which was built as a shrine during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573- 1620). The present building was rebuilt later. There are stone railings on the rocks behind the house, and the scenery of Beishan is panoramic.

On the west side of Zhu Rong Temple, there is a platform. On a moonlit night, the moon is in the sky and the scenery is particularly bright. Tourists standing on the stage, enjoying the moonlight, have a different scene than on the flat ground. Even if the moon sets in the west, there is still its afterglow here. As described in Sun Ying 'ao's poem in the Ming Dynasty: "The glory of the world has been exhausted, and the light here is not low." You can imagine the beautiful scenery.

There are many temples near Zhurongfeng, and there is Shangfeng Temple in the south, which was called Guangtianguan before the Sui Dynasty, and it is a place for Taoist activities. During the Great Cause of Yang Di (605-6 18), he was ordered to change to Shangfeng Temple. Directly in front of Shangfeng Temple is the Nantianmen. There is a sun-watching platform on the hill behind Shangfeng Temple, and now there is a weather station. Next to the Sun Observatory, there is a stone tablet engraved with the words "the source of observing the sun". Autumn is crisp, especially in Chu Qing after the rain. Visitors can see the spectacle of "a red sun rolling a golden ball".

depository of Buddhist scriptures

The exhibition of "Four Wonders of Nanyue" in Confucian Temple. Located at the foot of Xiangguang Peak in Nanyue, it was built in the second year of Chen Feidi Everbright in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (AD 568), formerly known as "Little Prajna Zen Forest". Later, because Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming emperor, gave a copy of the Tripitaka to be stored in the temple, it was renamed the Buddhist Sutra Hall. The present temple was rebuilt by 1933. This is an ancient building with glazed tiles, red walls and single eaves. The temple is unique, rigorous, simple and elegant, just like a beautiful pearl embedded in a lush jungle. In the 1980s, it was renovated, and the paintings in the hall were exquisite, and the images were vivid with additional carvings. In particular, in the autumn of 1980, the gold and bronze Buddha statues presented by Mr. Huang, a Thai Chinese, and his wife Ms. Ouyang Hui were placed in the temple. The Buddha statue, named "Pilu Jinna", is pure copper and gold-plated, which is beautiful and dazzling, adding new colors to Nanyue cultural relics.

The soil around the Buddhist sutra hall is thick and deep, and the temperature is not too low, so plants are easy to grow. There are linden, Du Ying, Hericium erinaceus, Castanopsis eyrei, Torreya grandis and other precious trees, which have completely preserved the original vegetation of evergreen and broad-leaved mixed in subtropical mountainous areas. Among the trees, the cash cow, the same root tree and the branch tree beside the slope stream in front of the temple are the most interesting to tourists.

There are also many legends about the monuments in the temple. There is a spiritual field in front of the temple. Every autumn night, the lights are dancing like candles, and you can see the outline of Laolin Ancient Temple. Suspicion is "Ludian halo", which is actually caused by fireflies dancing and shining. People also call it "firefly pilgrimage". There is a dresser in front of it, which is said to be the place where Chen, the mother of the Ming Dynasty, dressed. There is also Diaoyutai nearby, which is said to be the fishing place of Zhang Lihua, the concubine of the late Six Dynasties.

Nantai temple

Nantai Temple is located in the second mile of Fuyan Temple, under Ruiying Peak, and is known as the "source of the world". It was built during the prison time in Tian Liang, and was originally a place where monks in Hai Yin practiced. On the Nanshan rock wall on the left behind the temple, there are huge stones like platforms. According to legend, Hai Yin monks once meditated and chanted on this stone, hence the name "Nantai". At present, you can clearly see three big characters with a diameter of two feet on the platform. On the left, there is "Tian Liangjian reciting the sword", and on the right, two lines of fine print are directly engraved. The temple is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.

Nantai Temple is very famous, and Buddhists at home and abroad admire it. This is not only an ancient temple with a long history in the Six Dynasties, but more importantly, during the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, a famous monk, Shi Shiqian, was born in the temple. He is an important figure of Qingyuan School, one of the two major schools of Nanzong.

peaceful

Mojingtai is located in the central scenic spot of Zhongshan Pavilion in Nanyue. Because Huairang, the seventh ancestor of China Nanchan, used grinding bricks as a mirror, it was named Mazu Road in Jiangxi. At present, there is a "ancestral garden" stone carving in the scenic spot, which is said to be a place for grinding mirrors. The tomb of Huai Rang still exists today, and the contemporary prime minister Pei Xiu wrote "Ruyi Wheel Tower" in calligraphy. Mojingtai is a place where people gather. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Zhou Enlai and Ye Jianying held training courses for guerrilla cadres in Nanyue, and Chiang Kai-shek also held many military meetings here.

Ganoderma fountain

The fountain of Ganoderma lucidum is closely related to Magu Wonderland, and consists of a fountain of Ganoderma lucidum and a swimming pool. Vivid artificial landscaping Ganoderma lucidum spews out the spring water on the mountain, which is very spectacular and is an excellent place for sunbathing and forest bathing. The swimming pool was built by He Jian, the governor of Hunan Province, for his daughter during the Republic of China. Chiang Kai-shek and Song Meiling visited it many times.

Mago wonderland

Magu Wonderland is located at the foot of Tianzhu Peak. According to legend, it is the birthday place of Magu Fairy Mountain, the maid of Mrs. Wei in Nanyue. It adopts the methods of "lighting for landscaping, diverting water for landscaping, building roads for landscaping and planting trees for landscaping", making Magu Wonderland a veritable fairyland on earth. Since opening to the outside world, there has been an endless stream of tourists. The main scenic spots are Magu Birthday, Zhu Yi Pavilion, Taotao Stone, Crouching Tiger Stone and Ganoderma lucidum Stone.

Nanyue gourmet-tofu flower

The tofu flower in Nanyue tastes delicious. Looking at the white and tender tofu flower, my mouth is watering! Although the workmanship is not much different from other places, the important thing is raw materials! Don't look at that bowl of tofu. It is made by tofu chefs with carefully selected high-quality soybeans and sweet mountain springs. It is tender and slippery, and comes from My Sweetie. You can't bear to eat, not eating will only make you want to eat more. Going to Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue without tasting the local tofu is just like going to Xi 'an without seeing the Terracotta Warriors, going to Beijing without seeing Xiangshan, going to Tianjin without buying the big twist of 18th Street, and eating Sichuan spicy hot pot without Chili. When I came to Nanyue, I always felt something was missing if I didn't try the tofu flower here.

Nanyue gourmet-Nanyue rice noodle

I have eaten rice noodles from many places, such as Yunnan rice noodles, Guangdong rice noodles, Guilin rice noodles and Dandan Noodles, Sichuan (noodles are actually noodles). However, I feel that the rice noodles in my hometown are delicious, especially Duxiu Road. There is a rice noodle shop where the rice noodles are absolutely delicious! Several shops are open side by side, but that one is always full of customers. Friends who go to Nanyue must remember to try it. I will never preach!
