Yaoli, also known as "Kiln" in ancient times, got its name because it was the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. As far back as the middle of the Tang Dynasty, there were handmade workshops producing ceramics here. Yaoli is located at the northeast end of the world-famous porcelain capital and in the center of three world cultural heritage sites (Huangshan, Lushan, Xidi and Hongcun). It is known as the "source of porcelain, the hometown of tea, and the sea of ??forests". It is a national key scenic spot, a national historical and cultural town, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national mine park, a national forest park, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and a national natural and cultural heritage. The current planned area is 195 square kilometers. The scenic area has a pleasant climate all year round, dense forests, and a coverage rate of more than 94%. There are more than 180 kinds of national rare animals and plants in the area, including southern yew, ginkgo trees, torreya trees, leopards, and giant salamanders. Wuhua Mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is 1,618.4 meters above sea level and is the source of the East River of Changjiang River in Jingdezhen.

Yaoli is rich in tourism resources and is known as the "source of porcelain, the hometown of tea, and the sea of ??forests".

In 2005, Yaoli Town was awarded the title of "China's famous historical and cultural town, Gaoling National Mine Park, China's natural and cultural dual heritage list, national key scenic spot, national AAAA-level scenic spot, and national forest park" "Six national brands. Yaoli Kaoling Mountain is a world-famous ceramic holy land and the name of the world's kaolin mineral. There are 127 ancient mines, 67 ancient kiln sites, 149 water dams, 600 ancient workshops, and 100 ancient docks.

Yaoli’s tourism resources have four characteristics: red, white, green and gray.

From March 1, 2010, the pass for Yaoli Scenic Area will be adjusted to 150 yuan per person, and the student ticket will be half price.

This trip

Because I didn’t sign up for a group tour, the journey was very difficult. There was no through train and I kept going around and around. I hope my travel experience can be helpful to everyone.

Day 1: Take the K1091 train from Wuchang Station to Jiujiang at 9:20. Ticket price: 41rmb/person. Arrive at 13:20. Because the taxis at the entrance of the train station were very dark, I didn’t take a taxi. Take the bus at the door to Jiujiang Long-distance Bus Station, which is very convenient and will arrive at about 13:50. Buses from Jiujiang to Jingdezhen run every hour, which is very convenient. I bought the 14:30 bus, 57rmb/p. The journey takes 100 minutes and arrives at Jingdezhen Long-distance Bus Station at 16:10. Taking a taxi to Jinjiang Inn Hotel costs about 7rmb, which is very close and convenient. Jingdezhen is known as the porcelain capital of the world. You can see all kinds of porcelain shops everywhere, with all grades available. It is the best choice for buying porcelain. The level of urban development is average, and there are not many restaurants. However, the pedestrian street is very prosperous, and Nanmentou Street is very lively at night. It is worth mentioning that the lampposts here are all made of blue and white porcelain O(∩_∩)O~ It’s eye-opening. There is also a huge tiger stacked up in porcelain bowls at the entrance of People's Square, which is very shocking.

The next day: There are only two shuttle buses from Jingdezhen to Yaoli every day at 7:30 and 14:30. Because it was too early in the morning, we chose to take the afternoon bus. Next to Shuguang Road Village Bus Station. The ticket price is 13rmb/person. Arrive in Yaoli at around four o'clock. When I arrived in Yaoli, I was dumbfounded. I thought the scenic spot was nearby, but I didn’t know it was quite far away. There are four scenic spots and you can only go there by chartered car. There are no buses in the off-season, which is so miserable. . We had no choice but to stay in Yaoli Town for one night and go to the scenic spot the next day.

The town is not big and there are many family hotels. The more formal ones include Guzhen Hotel for 120rmb/day. There are also many ancient houses where you can live. 30rmb/person/day. Most of the ancient villages in Yaoli were built near the water. Since ancient times, the mountains have been evergreen. Although Yaoli is rich in mineral deposits, it has never been mined. Therefore, the Yao River has not been polluted and has always been crystal clear. As the saying goes, "If the water is clear, there will be no fish." However, watching fish in the Yao River forms a beautiful scenery. The villagers wash clothes and vegetables by the stream, which is very simple. There are no formal restaurants in the ancient town, they are all opened by the villagers themselves. The food is very expensive. Very rip off. The river fish is delicious. 38 a portion is worth eating.

The third day: Charter a car to the scenic spot at 8:30. The fare has been reduced from 120 to 80. It includes the entire trip to four scenic spots. The driver said they charge 150 in peak season. So dark. . The road conditions are pretty good, with many winding roads. I had seen someone renting bicycles before and wanted to get closer to nature. But when I saw the road conditions later, I was glad I didn’t rent a bicycle, otherwise I would have been exhausted. Yaoli pass is 150rmb/p. Student tickets are discounted in half. This is relatively cost-effective. It includes four major scenic spots: Yaoli Ancient Town, Raonan Ceramics Theme Park, Meiling Leisure Resort, and Wanghu Ecological Tourist Area.

You can buy tickets separately for each scenic spot. Highly recommend Wanghu. The Nanshan Waterfall Group located in the Wanghu Ecological Tourist Area consists of four waterfalls: Nanshan Waterfall, Shihua Waterfall, Feilong Waterfall, and Piaojin Waterfall. The total length of the waterfall group is more than 400 meters, with a drop of 220 meters, and the main waterfall is 70 meters wide. There are four waterfalls in one water, connected from end to end, from large to small, first urgent and then slow, if interrupted and then continued, sometimes disappearing and sometimes appearing. The scenery of the four waterfalls is different.

Another attraction in the Wanghu Ecological Tourist Area - the virgin forest and Tianhe River Valley, has a humid climate and complete vegetation, ranging from broad-leaved forests to coniferous forests, from vines and trees to flowers and shrubs, and colorful. It has clear layers, just like a natural botanical garden. The main reason is the beautiful waterfalls inside. There are waterfalls accompanying you all the way up the mountain. The main part of Yaonan is the official kiln that used to make porcelain. It's not much to see, but the water inside is blue and there are many small fish. There are several small attractions in Yaoli Ancient Town, distributed around the town, such as Yaoli Museum, Yiling, Chen Yi's Former Residence, and Cheng's Ancestral Hall. The scenic spots are all very close. The tour ends at about 2:00. Take the local bun back to Jingdezhen for 15rmb/p. Stay at Nanmentou Commercial Street at night.

Day 4: In the morning, we took a taxi to Jingdezhen Long-distance Bus Station and bought some souvenirs in the surrounding porcelain shops. 12:50 Take the bus to Jiujiang. 45rmb/p Because you bought the ticket directly on the bus, it is 7 yuan cheaper than when you came. Arrive at Jiujiang Railway Station at about 14:30. I bought a return ticket to Wuhan at 1:10 pm. I found an Internet cafe and booked the GreenTree Inn Jiujiang Railway Station Branch. The location is excellent and convenient. After putting the luggage away, we went out to play. In addition to Lushan Mountain, Jiujiang also has many interesting places in the city. We went to Yanshui Pavilion, which is right in the bustling center of the city. It is surrounded by two large lakes. It's very lively with many people walking in the evening.

Day 5: Depart at 9:00 in the morning and take bus No. 23 from the door directly to the historic Xunyang Tower. Tickets are 20rmb/p, student tickets are half price. Inside the building are porcelain seated statues of 108 generals in "Water Margin", which are lifelike in shape. After lunch, we headed to the train station and arrived in Han successfully at 4:30, ending our journey.

Concluding remarks: Yaoli Scenic Area integrates natural scenery such as mountains, forests, waterfalls, canyons, and cultural landscapes such as ancient towns and ancient kiln sites. It has beautiful landscapes and humanities, is primitive, simple, and quiet. The climate is suitable all year round, making it a green home to enjoy the baptism of nature. It is also a good place to visit ancient times and appreciate the unity of nature and man.

The only drawback is that the journey to Yaoli is too arduous. It takes two cities from Wuhan, and the journey is very expensive. It is recommended that the best option for friends who want to go to Yaoli in the future is to travel by car. It is convenient, fast and time-saving, and you can spend a lot of time enjoying the scenery. Those who don’t own a car can sign up for a group tour. Although the time is short, it is more worry-free. However, the self-guided tour is about freedom. You can see many different scenery along the way, which adds a lot of knowledge. The conservative cost for a five-day trip for two is between 1800-1900. If you join a group tour, it only costs 400 yuan per person. . It’s just a 2-day tour O(∩_∩)O~.
