Why is the moon cake of Peninsula Hotel the Rolls Royce in the moon cake?

Peninsula Milky Moon Cake was created in 1987 by Master Ye Runfa of Jialinlou, a Chinese restaurant in Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong. Jialinlou is a Michelin-starred restaurant and a Chinese restaurant with a long history in Peninsula Hotel, which is most famous for Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. Therefore, the peninsula moon cake is also called Jialinlou mini cream moon cake. The creamy yellow moon cake in Jialinlou is handmade, inspired by the creamy yellow buns and western-style cookies popular with diners in the restaurant, so this moon cake is a combination of Chinese and western, with cookies as the crust and creamy yellow as the filling. Because the crust of the cake is easily broken, Master Ye reduced the size of the moon cake, so it is called mini milky moon cake. After the peninsula moon cakes became famous, there was a huge demand. Rolls-Royce, known as the mooncake industry, once bought mooncakes in Hong Kong and dispatched police to maintain order.
