Where is the most famous sweet potato wine in Hainan?

Sweet potato wine is a famous wine in Danzhou, Hainan. Generally, it is made of sweet potatoes produced in Paipu, Dacheng and other towns in Danzhou. It is well-known in the local area and is known as "Maotai" in Danzhou. It is a good wine for Danzhou people to entertain VIPs.

Danzhou sweet potato wine comes from the northern part of Pingtan. In the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652), Yang Guangdou, the ancestor of the hotel village, moved from Fuqing, opened mountains and expanded the sea, and worked diligently. Later, Yang Guangdou IV, Sun Yang Changhua, and Yang brothers saved money and changed the grass hut built by their ancestors into a new house with three entrances.

Later generations Lu Xu built oil mills, restaurants, pawn shops and money houses, and developed rural industry and commerce in the north of Pingtan. In Pingtan Yang Wen Ji compiled by Pingtan Yang Zhen Academic Research Association, the hotel village is introduced as follows: "Pingyuan Town Hotel Village, also known as Xinghua Village ... Yang Zu opened a restaurant and made wine with sweet potatoes, which is famous far and wide, hence the name.
