The History and Culture of Dabujiang Town

Dabujiang Township has rolling mountains and boundless forests. There is an ancient temple on the top of the famous Jinbaoxian Mountain, which was built in the Ming Dynasty, and it is one of the five ancient temples in Yongxing County. The Buddhist pagodas built during the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty are preserved on the mountainside in the northeast (now Huangshalong).

Characteristic culture

The local characteristic culture "patchwork embroidery" in Dabujiang Township is a kind of folk original ecological plastic arts, which has been listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage protection list in Chenzhou City and successfully applied for provincial intangible cultural heritage. It is a cultural industry research and development project of Hunan University.
