Architectural layout of Zhenjue Temple

There is a pond at the foot of Xiushan, and there is a "rest pavilion" next to it. A board on the pavilion post reads: "Why not sit here, the grand view is still behind." Tells the mystery of Xiushan Temple. There is a stone tablet beside the pavilion, engraved with the word "Xiushan", which was inscribed by Tu Yingheng, a famous calligrapher of Shiping, in the eighth year of Qing Qianlong (1743). Up the mountain along the stone path, it can be said that the winding path leads to a secluded place, through the ancient Berlin, up the bluestone steps and to the mountain gate. The word "Xiushan" on the mountain gate is elegant and natural, and it is like a charming girl dancing, and it is like a tall and handsome mountain. From ancient times to the present, anyone who has seen Xiushan is full of praise for its superb calligraphy art. As soon as you enter the mountain gate, there is a statue of Maitreya Buddha, and the title is very interesting. The first couplet reads: "loyal to the monarch and loving the people, what if such a person does not worship God?" It's no use those little people burning incense. "In front of the giant Buddha, loyalty is treachery and evil, and each has its own results. We should persuade the world to be loyal and loving, and not to do evil.

Behind Maitreya, there is a huge statue of Wei Tuo, which is very beautiful. He is a peerless handsome man, ranking first in temples in southern Yunnan. Wei Tuo, two generals, Hum and Ha, and four heavenly kings are the guardians in the temple, and they look solemn and dignified.

Entering from the left door is the Ten Kings Hall, and entering from the right door is the Children's Hall. On the one hand, it is to seek the destination of life, on the other hand, it is to seek the wonderful life. Everything in the universe is endless, which makes people understand a truth, that is, a happy life.

In this courtyard in the main hall, there are over 600-year-old osmanthus trees, cedars, Bai Mei, arhats and other ancient trees.

There is a "Three Manduo" horizontal plaque hanging on the door of the central temple, which was written by Mr. Yuan Jiagu, the only economic expert in Yunnan in the late Qing Dynasty.

Entering the courtyard of the nave, there are wings on both sides, which used to be the residence of the abbot and monks. On the east and west walls of the nave, there are two big characters "Dragon and Tiger" written by a Taoist who dreamed of Buddha, and the font is vigorous and powerful. The word "Fengyun" was written by Zhu Guang, a famous shiping scholar in Qing Dynasty, and its skill is slightly insufficient. There is a poem "Emperor Kangxi travels to Jinshan Temple in the south of the Yangtze River" written by a Buddhist monk with a dream on the east wall. A board inscribed by Zhang Han, the second academician of the Qing Dynasty, reads: "Several monks went into several mountains to preach, and the abbot waited for me to recite poems for five days." Hanging in the middle of the beam and column, it records the grand occasion of Xiushan Temple, the abbot of Taoism. There is a board hanging on the eaves column of the right ear: "The peaks in the southwest are absolutely unique, and the mountains in the northeast are unobstructed." Wang Chui Shu, a native of Lin 'an Prefecture, wrote after visiting the temple, which is a nostalgia for the beautiful scenery of Xiushan. There is an inscription next to the left wing: "Song of Sichuan Governor Jiang, urging people to cherish money", which makes the advantages and disadvantages of money clear and profound, and can be studied carefully.

On the front is the Hall of Heroes, which is magnificent. Hall of Great Heroes was written by Tu Zhuo, a great calligrapher in Yunnan in the Qing Dynasty. Outside the main hall, there is a couplet inscribed with Oracle bones: "Traveling around the world for three thousand miles, I only love this empty mountain and romantic moon, and the ancient temple is hazy and hazy, listening to the bells of the sails;" Looking at Camp 12, I asked who would care about the green rain in Summer and the crops in Huang Yun. I deeply admired the beautiful scenery of Xiushan Temple and Baoxiuying 12.

From the east and west ears of the main hall, you can go directly to the middle hall, where there are statues of the founders of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. The unity of the three religions is really rare.

Xiushan Temple has experienced ups and downs for thousands of years, and it is still fragrant, with many tourists and profound cultural connotations, and is known as the Buddhist holy land in southern Yunnan.

From the west passage of the main hall, you can see the majestic "Lingyun Pavilion" hidden among the green trees. 1923 was initiated by Shiping Chenguan and completed the following year. There is a porcelain statue of Chen Heting in the pavilion.

Lingyun Pavilion is a polygonal attic building, with triple double eaves and two floors, with upturned cornices and spectacular momentum. There are many inscriptions and couplets such as "Deep in the White Clouds", "Amazing Weather" and "Lingyun Pavilion", and the handwriting of famous Yunnan experts Zhao Fan and Chen Rongchang. You have a reflection of a lotus pond, with thousands of bamboo poles in front and ancient trees around. Climbing the building and overlooking, you can have a panoramic view of the nine heavy and twelve battalions, the villages with smoke curling up and the green fields, mountains and lakes. It's refreshing to hear bells jingling, cicadas singing and birds singing.
