Where is Fukui Prefecture? Is there anything interesting?

Fukui Prefecture is mountainous in the east, hilly and Fukui Plain in the west, with diverse topography. The northern part of Fukui Prefecture belongs to the northern climate and the southern part belongs to the Kansai climate, which makes Fukui Prefecture's animal and plant ecosystem unique. Fukui Prefecture has been the gateway to the Sea of Japan since ancient times and the main road to Kyoto in the Northeast and Hokuriku regions.
