In its open letter about oversold passengers, Sichuan Airlines stipulated that once oversold, passengers can not only get a free refund, but also get compensation from 300 yuan, and they can also get corresponding economic compensation if they change their subsequent flights. If the waiting time of the follow-up flight of 300-800 yuan is 2-4 hours, they will provide free hotel rest service.
Spring Airlines promises to provide 200 yuan cash compensation to passengers in case of oversold, and provide free return and change of tickets, and provide free accommodation for subsequent flights with a waiting time of more than 4 hours after the change.
Hainan Airlines stipulates that oversold passengers will be refunded free of charge and compensate 30% of the face price. If the compensation amount is lower than 200 yuan RMB, passengers who change their subsequent flights according to 200 yuan RMB can also get corresponding economic compensation signs. If the waiting time of subsequent flights exceeds 4 hours, free hotel rest service will be provided.
Shandong Airlines will refund tickets for oversold passengers free of charge and compensate passengers at 30% of the face value. If the compensation amount is lower than 200 yuan RMB, passengers who change their subsequent flights will also be compensated in 200 yuan RMB.
Shenzhen Airlines will give priority to oversold passengers to take follow-up flights, and the fare difference will be refunded more or less. At the same time, if the departure time of subsequent flights is less than 4 hours, if it is more than 4 hours but less than 8 hours, Shenzhen Airlines will compensate passengers at 30% of the face price, and if it exceeds 100%, Shenzhen Airlines will compensate passengers at 60% of the face price. In addition, when the compensation amount is lower than that of 200 yuan, Shenzhen Airlines will make compensation according to 200 yuan's standards.
Legal basis: Article 17 of the Regulations on Normal Flight Management stipulates that the carrier shall formulate and publish the general conditions of transportation, specify the contents of passenger services after the flight departure is delayed or cancelled, and clearly inform passengers during the ticket purchase process.
The general transportation conditions of domestic carriers should include whether to compensate for flight delays, and the compensation conditions, standards and methods should be clear.
