Hotel management in Holland

Actually, hotel management is not suitable for you.

That's what I studied. I am a girl.

I remember when I graduated, the school arranged work internships. The recruitment requirements of a 5-star hotel are like this.

Draw a height line at the entrance of the recruitment room. 165 for females and 175 for males. Don't go in without this height.

I am 168CM, and the internship is assigned to the front desk. Only then did I realize that I was not tall, because the height of the front desk was almost above 170, and I was a girl.

The hotel industry pays more attention to appearance, as well as business, management, communication, interpersonal communication and language skills.

In fact, the knowledge in the textbook is not very important in hotel work, what matters is experience.

Being a manager doesn't mean that you can study in Holland for a few years and then work in a hotel. My position is assistant manager of the lobby. It took me two years to get here. Besides listening, reading and writing in English, I also need to master a second or more foreign languages. Now there are more and more Japanese and Korean guests in China Hotel, and you will be asked to listen to Japanese, Korean and simple conversations.

What hotels value is not academic qualifications, but ability and experience.

Personally, I think it is unrealistic to be a middle and senior manager as soon as I enter the hotel. Being a hotel manager is one step at a time, otherwise how can you accumulate experience?

Now every hotel's recruitment (manager) has a * * * similarity, that is, hotels with the same star level or above have at least 2 or 3 working experiences in the same position. Female height 162 (this is a general requirement, 5-star club requires 165), and male height 175 or more.

On my own terms, I suggest not to run a hotel.
