Go on a road trip to Seven Little Arches to visit Summer Island in the Philippines
The Philippines is an island country with more than 7,000 islands alone. Generally speaking, there are two places to visit: 1. Cebu Islands. Palawan Island. Today I would like to introduce you to the Cebu Islands, which you can visit in a week or 10 days!
Cebu is quite big, but there are not many specific tours. They are mainly transfers, so you can go directly to the next place in a hurry. There are direct buses to Mobao, as well as ships to Sikkim Hall and Bohol Island. Use the local grab app to take a taxi from the airport, which usually costs about 400 pesos to the city. To save money, walk 5 minutes from the airport, take the 40 pesos bus to SM Mall, and then transfer. Recommended duration: 1 day.
Mobao: Take the bus from Cebu South Station. There are many activities to do. If you like diving to see sardines, sign up for a diving shop. 1,400 pesos for deep diving and 1,000 pesos for snorkeling. There are also places where you can see a lot of coral for free. Navigate to Panagsama Beach, swim out for more than ten meters, and you will see coral clusters. The water is very clear and there are many fish. We also encountered sea turtles. The second one is to go to Kawasan Falls, which is very popular locally. You can rent your own motorcycle in advance. Recommended duration: 2 days.
1. Observing whale sharks in Oslob
It is very cheap to transfer from Mobo to Oslob, but the departure time is not fixed and you have to wait. If you book a hotel in oslob in advance, you can tell the driver that he will park at the corresponding location.
You can book the nearest hotel near the whale shark point, and you can sign up with the boss for a whale shark watching group. 1,000 pesos per person, departure at 5:45 in the morning, and take the earliest crab boat to see it at 6:00.
Recommended duration: 1 day.
2. Dumaguete
Dumaguete is a transit city. I usually go to the nearby Apo Island to snorkel and see sea turtles. Starting from Oslob, take a tutu for 150 pesos or two cars for 20 pesos to the Liloan Pier. It takes about an hour to reach the Sibulan Pier in Dumaguey. You need to take a boat at the pier in Dumaguei city center. Tickets are £240 per person.
Recommended duration: 1 to 2 days
3. Sikkim Hall
A relatively simple island, you can rent a motorcycle to travel around the island. Kambugai Falls is particularly worth checking in. If you have aerial photography, you can take stunning photos. Be sure to arrive at 7 a.m. otherwise the light will be beautiful. When you get to the waterfall, you can play swing diving and bamboo rafting.
Salagdoong Beach is a jelly-shaped beach with a 10-meter diving platform. If you are brave enough, you can try it, it will be absolutely amazing.
Recommended duration: 2 to 3 days
4. Bohol Island
Take a boat from Sikkim Hall Larena, the fare is 700 pesos, more than one Hour. Bohol is already a very commercial place, you can go snorkeling or rent a motorbike to see the tarsiers and the Chocolate Hills.
Recommended duration: 2 days.
