Xiuning: Journey to Lizhuang

I have said that I must go to Lizhuang Village in Xiuning. Lizhuang is located at the junction of southern Xiuning and Wuyuan. It is a high mountain village.

The route we take without exception is Provincial Highway 218. The picture below is from Yangzhan Ridge looking south. Every time I go here, I like to take a photo down the mountain. Different seasons and Weather, there will be different scenes.

The route is: Yixian County-Yuting-Weiqiao-Chenxia, ??passing through Jingxi Village, the hometown of Zhu Sheng. Baidu explains it this way: Zhu Sheng (1299-1370) was a military strategist and writer in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties. He was an advisor to the founding of the Ming Dynasty and became a Hanlin bachelor. In the late Yuan Dynasty, he was recommended as Chizhou Xuezheng and was called Mr. Fenglin. Later, he became famous for his suggestion to Zhu Yuanzhang to "build walls high, accumulate grain widely, and become king slowly" which was adopted. There are many rumors and anecdotes about Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Sheng in this area.

The last route map is from Huiling Village to Lizhuang. This section is 10 kilometers away. After looking at the map, you will understand why the place names in this area always like to have the word "Hui" in them.

After passing Jingxi Village, we began to approach the depths of Wulong Mountain. It has been raining intermittently these days, making walking inconvenient, but the scenery is the most beautiful at this time. Haven't you heard of "Misty Rain in Huizhou"?

This was taken in Huiling Village at the foot of Wulong Mountain. Autumn is quiet, and everything begins to calm down its restless heart. The rice will be harvested in a few days, and it looks yellow and clear. The distant mountains are majestic, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, and the village with white walls and black tiles is embraced by Wulong Mountain. It is comfortable, peaceful and happy.

Sometimes when I see the beautiful scenery in the mountains of southern Anhui, I feel like crying. Is it sadness? Of course not. Have you ever heard of Ai Qing’s poem? "Why do I always have tears in my eyes? Because I love this land deeply." Look, before you even say a few words, you start to be pretentious again.

When we got here, two guys driving an Audi car with a Shandong Liaocheng license plate also parked here. However, they just took a few photos and then turned around and went back. Probably this majestic The mountain suppressed them both. It seemed that they had no connection with the mountain.

Start climbing back and forth.

Watching Huiling Village getting further and further away from you.

The clouds and fog became thicker near the mountain pass, and I could no longer see the beautiful scenery down the mountain, especially the winding road that made it impossible to take pictures.

This is a mountain pass. You can see the village after passing here. The altitude I measured using the software is 816 meters, but I don’t know if it is accurate.

When we arrived in Lizhuang, the villagers liked to sit and chat on the playground in front of the primary school. Like the neighboring Banqiao Township, they speak the Wuyuan dialect, and I can recognize it.

This is Lizhuang Primary School, with a total of three offices.

There are three students in total, one male and two female, and they are of different sizes.

This is the oldest, nine years old, in the third grade. You might as well call her Xiaoyang. She was painting a painting, and she explained to me: In the painting, two little girls are chasing and playing, there is an adult lying on a bamboo bed, and there is a waterfall flowing down the mountain next to the village. The artistic conception in the painting is very beautiful.

What needs to be mentioned in particular is that she has parents, but in fact she is no different from an orphan. She originally studied in Yiwu, Zhejiang, and was recently forced to move here to live with her aunt in Lizhuang.

For the sake of her privacy, I don’t want to say anything more here. If anyone has the opportunity to go to Lizhuang, it is best not to pry into anything and try not to disturb her.

This is what Teacher Cheng, the only substitute teacher in the school, told me. He also took Xiaoyang to his side out of sympathy.

I put down my luggage and walked around the village. I was probably the only outsider in the whole village.

After turning around, she unexpectedly transferred to Xiaoyang's house. Her aunt didn't come back from work, so she was the only one. She speaks standard Mandarin, is polite, enthusiastic, and conversational, without losing the childishness of a child. It seems as if nothing has happened to her, and she gives you a very relaxed state. The more so, the more affectionate you feel. . Her mother seems to be from Guizhou. If you look carefully, her face is beautiful and narrow, with the characteristics of a southwestern beauty.

I didn’t go into the hall of Xiaoyang’s house. This was taken at the door.

It is no different from most old-style Huizhou rural households. There is a scroll hanging on the screen, a table below, and an Eight Immortals table in front. The same furnishings and the same layout. When you see the front hall, you know the back hall, the stove, and even the stove. Knowing the bowl of leftover sauerkraut or tofu under the pot lid, they are so identical, following the inherent tradition, like rare fossils.

There are many outsiders around me (referring to people outside southern Anhui). When talking about southern Anhui or Huizhou, it seems that there is nothing to say or see except the mountains and rivers here, and there is even a little I despise the "poor mountains and rivers" here, but I see Huizhou's mountains and rivers as incidental. The humanistic feelings integrated into the mountains and rivers are what I miss deeply and can't get rid of.

Sometimes it feels very far away, and sometimes it feels very close to you. It is always wandering and wandering between strangeness and familiarity, blurryness and clarity. In addition to the mountains and rivers where you can express your feelings, this land also leaves behind With things like "Huiyun", you can always look forward to good things, which is really good.

This is the water mouth of the village. There are several thick liquidambar trees. The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon, can late autumn be far behind? I think of the red leaves that fall all over the ground like little palms year after year. Photography enthusiasts love that season, and those colorful photos are overwhelming on the Internet. In my opinion, most of them are over-exaggerated. In fact, the images and words are similar in expression. The more plain they are, the more lasting and profound their beauty is.

There is a stone road leading here to Yangtai Village, which is ten miles long. I originally planned to go there, but I heard from a village woman that the grass on the road was so tall that I was afraid that I would not be able to make it back before dark. , so give up.

This is looking at Lizhuang from a high place. Lizhuang is said to be the village with the highest altitude in East China. The height I measured on the school playground was about 780 meters. Teacher Cheng said that some tourists measured the height at 800 meters. Of course , and there is a house that is much higher than the school. On average, it is definitely more than 800 meters.

It was night, and Teacher Cheng asked me to stay at the school. Several tables were put together to make a good bed, but the cover was a little lacking. The night in the mountains was still quite cool. As for the rice, of course I bought a bag of steamed buns and eggs from Yixian County. I am easy to eat, like a pig, and a pot of pig water can be eaten. It is so delicious.
