The owner of this hotel is Murray &; Robers) and Habtoor Engineering Enterprises L.L.C., a large local construction contractor in UAE, took five years to build.

Including two and a half years to fill the artificial islands in the Arabian Sea and two and a half years to spend on the building itself. 9000 tons of steel was used in the project, which achieved the feat of driving 250 capital construction piles under 40 meters deep sea.
