Lawrence block (1938-), born in Buffalo, New York, is an American mystery writer. /kloc-at the age of 0/9, he published his first novel, You Can't Miss It. After that, he insisted on writing for nearly 50 years. Up to now, more than 30 novels have been published, and he is a prolific writer. 1959 graduated from Antioch College, Ohio, and now lives in new york with two daughters.
