Shi Ming Stone Bridge is the oldest and most complete stone bridge in the whole Dawen River. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and the longest existing ancient stone bridge in our province. It has been well preserved and can be used normally. 1567, Shi Ming bridge was completed, which became the main traffic artery between north and south, greatly promoting the economic prosperity of Dawenkou ancient town. Businessmen gather here, even Shanxi businessmen are optimistic about this prime location, and a Shanxi guild hall has been built at the northern end of Mingshi Bridge for businessmen to gather to discuss business.
To this end, the ancients once wrote a poem: the Wenhe River flows backwards, and the apricots and willows on both sides spit incense. The ancient stone bridge is crowded with people, and the merchants in the ancient town have a prosperous business.
This bridge was built during the Qin Long period of the Ming Dynasty, so people called it Shiming Bridge. The bridge is 2.5 meters wide, with a total length of 22 1.8 meters and 65 holes. Each hole consists of five stone slabs, each 3.3 meters long, 0.5 meters wide and 0.3 meters thick. The vertical and horizontal joints of the slate are clamped with a hammer shovel, which is very strong. The pier is made of big stones, and the point facing the water to the east is pointed to reduce the water pressure. The bridge deck is flat, and the pier looks uneven because of the terrain of the river. In fact, each pier is connected to the bottom of the river bed, 0.8m low and1.8m high.
According to the water potential and topography, the bridge is divided into two parts, the northern end starts from the southwest gate of Dawenkou Town, the lower berth descends more than 20 meters, and then enters the main bridge. From the 32 holes of the bridge to the center of the river bed, there is a rock uplift. When repairing the bridge, only the rocks are leveled and paved with smooth stones. Locals call it dumb bar bridge, with a canal 3 meters wide and more than 2 meters deep in the middle. There is a bridge here, which divides the "dumb bar bridge" into two sections, the northern section is about 27 meters, the southern section is about 40 meters, and the south is connected with the 32-hole main bridge. Further south, there is a long raised stone surface, which is as flat as the road surface. This bridge is a flood control bridge.
In 2003, li geng, a tourism expert, came to Mingshi Bridge and was deeply impressed by the scenery here. He believes that in the middle section of Shiming Bridge, on a boulder on the west side of the bridge foundation, a stone crack about half a meter long and seven or eight centimeters wide is the natural dividing line between the two countries, and "Qilu on both feet" comes from this.
The completion of Shi Ming Bridge has not only solved the north-south traffic problem in the history of Dawenhe ancient ferry, but also is a rare artistic treasure in the history of China ancient bridge construction, with high cultural value. With the development of the times, it is really insignificant that a few leaf boats carry passers-by or a small amount of materials on this ancient waterway. Economic development makes cross-strait exchanges frequent. Wooden ferry can no longer meet people's travel needs. Therefore, there was the appearance of Shiming Bridge.
After the completion of Mingshi Bridge, the tea shed village in magnetic kiln town, south of the bridge, set up a shed to sell tea in order to provide a resting place for past business travelers. As time went on, the tea shed became very big, hence the name of the village.

Although Mingshiqiao has solved the traffic congestion problem between north and south, people and goods can't get through during the flood season.
