Why is vivo called orange?

Vivo is called orange system because its English name "OriginOS" is similar to the Chinese pronunciation "Orange". This name reflects that vivo hopes to start from the "origin" or "source" and bring users a new control experience. OriginOS is not only an upgrade of the original FuntouchOS, but also a brand-new system, gradually replacing FuntouchOS. Vivo chose this name to return to the most fundamental needs of users and provide a new UI experience different from the traditional Android system. Vivo brand products include smart phones, tablets and smart watches.
