Wuping county tourist attractions

Wuping County is a county under the jurisdiction of Longyan City, Fujian Province, and is known as the "Golden Triangle" in western Fujian. With a long history, it is an old revolutionary county and a central Soviet county. The territory has beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, high forest coverage and superior ecological environment. The tourist attractions in Wuping County include Liangye Mountain, Lingdong Fairy Mountain, Fenshui Waterfall, Lion Mountain and Chang 'an Cave.

1. Liangyeshan

The elevation of the main peak is1538m, which is the first peak in Wuping. Liangye Mountain has natural landscapes such as Liangye Mountain Temple, Guzi Stone, Xianren Cave, Ren Xian Pool, Mazhu Stone and Shuilang Stone. There is Liu Jia Reservoir in the south, surrounded by highways, and there are uphill passages in the east, west, north and south. There are yew in Liangyeshan Nature Reserve. With rare virgin forest ecosystems such as Taxus chinensis var. mairei population, sightseeing forest and Castanopsis kawakamii forest as the main protection objects, it is known as "natural green gene bank" and "wildlife refuge" and is a "green pearl".

2. Lingdong Fairy Mountain

Lingdong Fairy Mountain, or Xishan Mountain, is the crown of the eight scenic spots in Wuping. There are 28 small holes and 36 big holes in the mountain, which are located ten miles west of the city. Xianshan Mountain in the east of Lingdong is beautiful with clear water and flowers, and the scenery is charming. The main scenic spots are: Yanyan, Shuimenjing, Yuan, Xianghuiling, Xijue Lingshan, Qipanshi, Shisan, Zushi Temple, Crocodile with Ball, Tianzhu Courtyard, Li Gang Reading Hall, Guanyin Well and Shengcheshi.

3. Fenshui waterfall

Fenshui Waterfall is located in the east mountainside of Lashiji, Fenshui Village, Chengxiang Township, southeast of the county seat. The waterfall consists of a waterfall about 20 meters high and a waterfall about 8 meters high, both of which fly vertically. The broad-leaved forest in Laji market area is vast, well preserved and the ecological environment is extremely primitive.

4. Lion Mountain

Lion Mountain is located in Xiaba Township at the junction of Fujian and Guangdong, 33 kilometers away from the county seat. It belongs to Danxia landform and consists of several Qifeng mountains with a height of 200-300 meters. The peak is densely covered with exotic flowers and grass, and the ancient trees are towering, and one of the mountains is like a lion, hence the name. There is a small river around the mountain between the peaks, and many cylindrical caves have been formed after the riverbed was washed away by the flood. Lion Mountain has many landscapes, such as Lion Cave, the first granary in the world, saddle stone, Longtan, Xianqi Cave, boy worshipping Guanyin and many magical legends about lions guarding granaries.

5. Cape Chang 'an

Chang 'an Cave is located in Wuping, west Fujian, on the edge of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi, at the southern end of Wuyi Mountain, about 5 kilometers northwest of "Hakka Town". According to the local Hakka custom, the peak of a high mountain is called "Cape". Chang' an headland is high and dangerous. According to local data, the altitude here is1.260m, which is second only to Liangye Mountain, the highest peak at the southern end of Wuyi Mountain (altitude1.538m).
