The leader of the Xie family convened local people to discuss, raise donations for the construction, and asked people to start construction in good time. A solid stone arch bridge was built on both sides of the Xieqiao River that could pass cars and pedestrians.

Emperor Gaozong was greatly pleased with Longyan and was granted the title of Yang Liulang as a senior official.

Yang Liulang thought that the Yang family had been harmed by treacherous ministers everywhere, and asked the emperor to go to the southern Xinjiang area to guard the three passes (today's Huashi to Fenghuang area).

In order to ensure the stability of the imperial court, Emperor Gaozong approved the memorial.

When passing by the Xie Bridge in Tongren, it was already getting late. I camped here in Xiejia, and was enthusiastically accommodated by the people. While inquiring about the situation at the frontier, he rested his team. More than twenty days later, Yang Liulang's team was about to move forward and go straight to the three passes. In order to thank the people for their affection, he informed the leader of the Xie family that he had reported to the court. Xiejiaqiao was renamed Xiejia Bridge and received the title of Xiejia Bridge from Emperor Gaozong of the imperial court.

It was not until the 22nd year of the Republic of China that the place name was modernized, and Xiejia Bridge was renamed Xieqiao again to this day.
