Nanniwan

Located in the southeast of Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province, it is one of the tourist attractions in Yan 'an and is famous for its large-scale production movement during the Anti-Japanese War. Nanniwan basin covers an area of 365 square kilometers, which belongs to hilly and gully region and is the birthplace of Fenchuan River.

Baota shan

Located in Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province, beside the Yanhe River, it is a national key protected unit, built in the Tang Dynasty, with a height of 44 meters and nine floors. It is a landmark building in the historic city of Yan 'an.

Yan'an

Yan 'an (Yan for short), also known as Pumice and Yanzhou, is located in the north of Shaanxi Province, in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, bordering Yulin in the north, Xianyang, Tongchuan and Weinan in the south, Linfen and Lvliang in Shanxi across the Yellow River in the east and Qingyang in Gansu in the west.

Under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province, as of 202 1, Yan 'an City has jurisdiction over 1 city, 2 districts, 10 county, 18 sub-district office, 84 towns and 12 townships, with a total area of 37,000 square kilometers. The resident population is 2,269,300 (202 1).

Yan 'an is the location of Huangdi Mausoleum, the ancestor of Huangdi Mausoleum, a national holy place, and the first batch of national historical and cultural cities announced by the State Council. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Yan 'an belonged to Shang Jun and the Three Kingdoms, and Yan 'an was occupied by Hu Qiang. 1972, Yan 'an was renamed Yan 'an. Known as the "throat" and "military town", it is known as the "lock of Sanqin and the throat of the five roads".
