Where is the opening address of Hangzhou Asian Games?

The opening ceremony of the Asian Games was held in the main stadium of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center.

Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center is located in the south bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China and the core area of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo City in Qianjiang Century City block, with Qijiahe as the boundary and across Binjiang District and Xiaoshan District; It was put into use in April, 20021and was the main venue of the Hangzhou 19 Asian Games.

In this Asian Games, more than1.20,000 athletes from all 45 OCA members in Asia signed up, and the total number of technical officials and journalists reached more than 30,000, a record high.

Venue introduction:

There are 56 competition venues in Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games, which are located in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua according to the principle of "Hangzhou main venue is shared by the whole province". Among them, there are 0/2 new venues/KLOC-0, 26 rebuilt venues, 9 continued venues and 9 temporary venues.

There are also 3 1 training venues, 1 Asian Games Village and 4 Asian Games Villages (athletes' villages). The construction of venues adheres to the concept of "green, intelligent, thrifty and civilized" to ensure that the requirements of the games are met, promote urban construction, display the image of the city and serve the citizens.

On September 16, 2023, at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou 19 and the welcoming ceremony of the China sports delegation, the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou was officially opened with the sound of gongs and drums, which marked the simultaneous opening of the Asian Games Village, five Asian Games Villages and three athletes' accommodation hotels.
