Will the police check the hotel?

The police will check the hotel

At present, the hotel front desk must be equipped with a public security management system, whether it is operated alone or docked with the hotel front desk management system. When guests register at the front desk, they will be asked to upload the guest information to the public security management system at the same time. If a guest belongs to the key monitoring object, such as online fugitives, key people monitoring and so on. The public security management system will immediately call the police, and the nearby police station will immediately send personnel to the hotel front desk for verification. After verification, a decision on whether to increase the police force will be made according to the suspect's situation.

General hotel staff will inform guests to open the door because of room service or other reasons. After opening the door, the police will identify themselves and ask for cooperation with the inspection. This is not only to not affect the guests staying in the hotel, but also to meet the needs of public security work, so as not to startle them. In other words, under normal circumstances, the police will not go to the hotel to make rounds at will. In case of major festivals or major official activities, the police can conduct temporary sampling inspection. Although there is the possibility of sampling inspection, it is generally impossible for the police to expose their identity outside the door. Generally, the hotel room service staff will knock on the door, and the guests will open the door after answering.
