The Xanadu You Want in Furong Ancient Village of Wenzhou
Known as "the cradle of China's landscape poems", nanxi river has a faint green hills and waters, which has nurtured an ancient village far away from the hubbub and cultivated, which also confirms the long history of Yongjia in Wenzhou. Meng Haoran, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem "When will we arrive in Yongjia?" There is a river flowing in a poem.
Yongjia nanxi river is not only famous for its beautiful scenery, but also has many literati. Since ancient times, it has been called "Southeast Zou Lu" and "Xishan Zou Lu".
The ancient villages in nanxi river were awarded the title of "Ancient Villages in China", among which furong village, Daitou Village and Yubei Village were selected into the list of ancient villages in China, and the ancient buildings in furong village were also listed as national key cultural relics protection units.
Furong village is the oldest village along the coast of nanxi river.
The whole ancient village is square, facing east from west. It is planned and designed according to the idea of "seven stars and eight fights", which means that the stars in the sky correspond to the people on the ground, and the stars build platforms to compete for the pond as a symbol. The village wall made of cobblestones makes the whole village look like a small castle.
There is a village gate in the middle of the east village wall, and two small gates are opened a little further on both sides. The entrance to the village is made of brick and wood, with brick walls connected on both sides. The gate of the whole village is well preserved.
Xiushui is an outstanding place, and Shan Qi is outstanding. Yongjia, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, is a complex of ancient buildings. Furong Ancient Village is located on the west side of Nanxianqing Highway, Yantou Town, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City. It is a large-scale village built in the late Tang Dynasty, and furong village is the oldest village along the coast of nanxi river.
Stepping into the ancient village, it seems that time has begun to cross. The roads in the whole village are basically paved with pebbles of different sizes, which were rounded and smooth by footprints hundreds of years ago.
Most of the houses in the village are wooden structures with white walls and blue tiles. There are more than 30 ancient houses in Ming and Qing dynasties in the village, including ancestral halls 18, all of which are ancestral halls of the surname Chen. Entering the village entrance, you can see a house with the word "imperial edict" written on the door.
Chen Ancestral Hall, with its rigorous pattern and complete shape, is the essence of Furong ancient village architecture. From Chen's Grand Ancestral Hall, walk about 50 meters along Ruyi Street. There is a small lake called Furong Pool in the south of the street.
What is amazing is the lotus pavilion in the lotus pond and the ancient buildings in furong village. Walking in the alleys of furong village is a strange feeling, with rows of pebbles, first-class steps, doors and walls, rows of pebbles.
