What is the name of the vegetable cover in Jiaxing dialect?
It is a dialect of Wu dialect, belonging to the Su-Hu-Jia film in Taihu Lake, and can communicate with other dialects in the northern part of Wu dialect, such as Suzhou dialect, Shanghai dialect, Huzhou dialect, Shaoxing dialect, Ningbo dialect and Wuxi dialect.
There is little difference between Jiaxing dialect, Suzhou dialect and Shanghai dialect, because it was always under the jurisdiction of Suzhou before the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty set up Xiuzhou House and left Suzhou, while Shanghai was under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing before, and Jiaxing dialect was the main language. After the establishment of Songjiang Prefecture, Songjiang dialect developed independently on the basis of Jiaxing dialect, forming a relatively backward Songjiang dialect in Wu dialect, and then forming today's Shanghai dialect.
