Liangcheng Daihai Tourist Area Scenic Area Project

There are resorts, hot springs, yurts for accommodation, cruise terminals, restaurants, amusement places and other facilities in the tourist area, and activities such as swimming, boating, hot spring bathing and bonfire parties are carried out.

Daihai Tourist Area is located in Liangcheng County, Wulanchabu City, which is 0/00 km away from Hohhot and 480 km away from Beijing. It is a famous tourist attraction in Inner Mongolia.

With a total area of 1.30 square kilometers and a storage capacity of1.300 million cubic meters, Daihai Lake is the third largest inland lake in Inner Mongolia, known as "Tianchi Lake beyond the Great Wall" and a famous tourist attraction and fishery base in Inner Mongolia. In 2003, Beijing Energy Investment Company invested in the construction of Daihai Power Plant on the south bank of Daihai. At the same time, the company registered and established Inner Mongolia Daihai Protection and Construction Development Co., Ltd. to protect, develop and build the tourism resources in Daihai and its surrounding areas, and organized and compiled the overall plan of Daihai tourist area.

The company invested more than 200 million yuan to build the following facilities:

(1) Daihai Hotel: It is built according to the four-star standard, with a building area of 20,000 square meters, rooms 120 (sets) and 25 conference rooms, which can accommodate more than 400 people when available.

(2) Daihai Ski Resort: There are 400-meter-long primary and secondary snow trails and dining and rest places.

(3) Hot spring treatment center: hot spring bathing and medicinal bathing with various functions.

(4) Hand-woven shirts: organize local people to weave fabrics and make shirts and suits.

(5) Daihai Tourism School: focusing on training tourism managers.

(6) Landscape road around the lake.

(7) Environmental protection cruise terminal built by using new environmental protection materials on the lakeshore.
