My hometown, Xi 'an, was called Chang 'an in ancient times, which means "settled in the northwest". Now it is the capital of Shaanxi Province and the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of the province. As a national tourist hotspot city, Xi has received 9 million domestic and foreign tourists in recent years. Nowadays, the tourist facilities in Xi are more and more perfect, and the warm and thoughtful service will welcome more tourists. As a native of Xi, please visit the beautiful Xi with me.

First of all, we should go to the famous Huimin Square, a Muslim gathering area. It's just a few criss-crossing alleys, all of which are old restaurants of Hui people. When you get here, you can't help but buy Shaanxi specialties and taste the classic Hui cuisine. You must have a planned lunch here. You're famous for choosing the old white mutton pot. It is said that this is eaten by local people in hot summer. Fresh and tender mutton, with a lot of peppers, is sweaty and can relieve the heat. There is also a scenic spot deep in Huimin Square, which is impressive. Look at the buildings inside, and you will know that it has a long history. Two buildings are impressive. One is the Hall of Worship (the scientific name is forgotten), which is a place where Muslims worship. Very spacious, need slippers. There is also a "water room", which is what we call a "bathroom", which is a bit interesting. At first, we thought it was a place to boil hot water. It is said that they should bathe and clean themselves in the water room before going to church, which is holy enough.

Speaking of sacredness, I have to mention the status of the bell and drum tower in my heart. The Bell and Drum Tower is located in the center of Xi, which was built in the Ming Dynasty according to records. I wonder why the Bell and Drum Tower is a sister building, but it is not due south and north, nor is it due east and west, and it takes a diagonal line. There are more than ten bells, large and small, on the bell tower, and the most conspicuous one on the drum tower is the twenty-four drums corresponding to the twenty-four solar terms. The interesting thing on the day of the tour was to witness a bunch of couples taking pictures of the emperor's concubine in the bell tower; Several drum plays above the Drum Tower are wonderful and worthy of admiration!

The monuments in Xi 'an are not only symmetrical in internal architectural style, but also symmetrical in name. With the Little Wild Goose Pagoda, there must be the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Little Wild Goose Pagoda is the stupa of Jianfu Temple. It was built in the Tang Dynasty, but it is actually a stupa. Now the top of the pagoda has disappeared. It didn't take much effort to go from the bottom of the tower to the top of the tower, but the scene in Bruce Lee's movie "The Tower of Death" flashed through my mind. Ancient pagodas are always like this. In fact, I personally feel that other buildings deep in Jianfu Temple are more attractive and the layout is classic and symmetrical. The Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Jionji, with the most spectacular music fountain in front of the temple, which is known as the largest music fountain in Asia.

Then we went to Famen Temple to pay tribute to Fufeng Town in the suburb of Xianyang. This is very one-sided. It takes two hours by car from Xianyang. Of course, we didn't go to expressway. On the way, I also passed Maweipo, which is said to be the place where Yang Guifei was killed. Graves of all sizes can be seen everywhere on the road. Finally, we reversed in Fufeng Town and finally arrived at Famen Temple (I have to say, the Shaanxi cold rice noodles at the roadside stall are really good). Famen Temple has so many treasures. It's really an eye-opener, and it didn't cost us the pain of climbing mountains and mountains. What Buddha treasures of Sakyamuni, Buddhist relics, Zen sticks, and some cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty, feast your eyes. It is true that the Tang Dynasty was the heyday of Buddhist culture in China.
