Self-driving route:

Start from near Xi’an Aerospace City, go up To the Ring Expressway, transfer from the Hechizhai Interchange to the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway, get off the expressway at the Ning-Shaanxi Toll Station, and head toward Ningshan County, and then drive about 20 kilometers to reach the county seat. The total distance is 156 kilometers.

Ningshan is not far from Xi'an. It can be reached by car in 2 and a half hours. We set off at around 5 pm and arrived at the Qinling service area at 6:30. We rested in the service area for more than 20 minutes and then continued. Hit the road, got off the expressway at 7:30, walked on the mountain road for nearly half an hour, and arrived at Ningshan County at 8 p.m.

Hotel Accommodation:

Tongchewan Rafting and Water Park are just at the Ning-Shaanxi Expressway intersection. I did some rafting when I brought my children here last time and it felt pretty good. I want to play these projects. You should come here in the morning. We didn’t stop and went straight to the county seat. We still stayed at the Jinlan Home Hotel on the edge of the county seat. We also stayed in this hotel last time we came here. We didn’t look for it again this time and stayed directly. Destination: Shibazhang Waterfall, Chenghuang Temple, Xi'an.

Route arrangement:

From Ningshan County along the G210 National Highway towards Xi'an, drive 15 kilometers to the Shibazhang Waterfall; continue driving along the G210 and pass through Pingheliang and Fenshui Ridge to Xi'an . The total distance is 185 kilometers.

I had a dog walking mission in the morning, so I got up at around 7 o'clock. Opposite is Huanshan Forest Park. I went up from the gatehouse and walked around Huanshan Forest Park for a while. Huanshan Forest Park is built on Rentou Mountain in the south of the county. It is built along the mountainside. It is 3.5 kilometers long. It is full of steps. I was a little tired from climbing, so I walked around in a small circle and came down.

After returning, consider your next trip. There are scenic spots such as Shangbahe Forest Park, Youran Mountain Forest Park, and Shibazhang Waterfall nearby. I went to Shangbahe Forest Park last time, so I didn’t consider it, but the scenery is not bad. If you haven’t been there, you can give it a try.

The introduction to Youran Mountain is pretty good. On the way to the county town, if you go there, just go back the same way and take the expressway home. I haven’t decided where to go, so I decided to go to Shibazhang Waterfall Park first. Say it again.

The Shibazhang Waterfall used to be a scenic spot, but now fewer people go there and it is basically deserted. There is no admission fee. After checking out at 8:30 in the morning, I still went to the county seat for breakfast, and then headed north along the national highway. , arrived at the Shibazhang Waterfall attraction at 9:20.

The weather is still hot after we come out. There are two routes. One is to return to the original route to the Youran Mountain Alpine Wetland to have a look, and then go home from the expressway. The other is to go home via the national highway over the Qinling Mountains.

According to the introduction, the tickets for Youran Mountain are relatively expensive. It seems to be mainly grassland. I am afraid that it will be too exposed to the sun and I will suffer the pain of paying for it. On the way to Shibazhang Waterfall, there is the Ningshan City God's Temple, which is also a scenic spot. I didn't stop when I came here. Now I decided to go back to the City God's Temple to see it before deciding on the route, so I went back 9 Kilometers later, we arrived at Ningshan City God’s Temple.

Ningshan City God’s Temple is built on a sandbank in the Chang’an River. It looks like a boat, surrounded by water and located in the center. It is surrounded by towering ancient trees and shaded by green bamboos. Its specifications and shape are similar to those of government buildings, and its orientation is opposite. To the north and to the south is the Ningshan City God's Temple, which is one of the few ancient buildings in southern Shaanxi that has been completely preserved. Pingheliang is the watershed between the Xunhe River system in the Hanjiang River Basin and the Chang'an River Basin, a tributary of the Ziwu River, and is also the Ziwu Road.
