How to drink hot water in Japanese hotels

Japanese don't drink hot water very much, but hotels usually have hot water bottles. When you make a reservation, look at the hotel room photos. If not, go to Cat's Eye Eagle and search this hotel. Most of them will have real photos of the guests, just like public comments. It's easy to see if there is a kettle.

There are three situations in the hotel:

If there is a kettle or cup, I will make you a pot of boiling water in advance, and call the front desk to deliver it after drinking it. Besides, if you can't boil water in the room, you have to go to the public kitchen to pour it yourself.

If you really don't have it, buy a folding silicone kettle with dual voltage, which is especially easy to use.

If you really want hot water when you go to a restaurant, then tell the waiter in English to ask for hot water, and everyone will understand. They will get you a cup of hot water in the kitchen. Then now many canteens are self-service, and there are various choices for hot and cold water. Some powerful people will also prepare a water dispenser that can produce boiled water.
