The fourth pingliuwei geopark in eastern Fujian.

Text/Jiangnan Hong

Pingliuwei Geopark is located in Jiaonan Village, Taifeng Town, Lianjiang County, northeast of Huang Qi Peninsula in eastern Fujian. It is a geological landscape formed by a huge volcanic rock eroded by seawater for a long time. Its basic feature is that the rocks are fragmented and grotesque, coupled with the blue sea and endless seawater, its scenery is worth seeing.

In May this year, the four of us arrived here, and we walked south from Ningde along the Shenhai Expressway, which was only a few tens of kilometers. Get off the Lianjiang Expressway, cross the county road and follow the road signs, so it's easy to find here. There is also a main street in Taiga town. Drive up the hill along the street to the end of the town, and you will arrive in Jiaonan. Under the guidance of the staff, we parked the car, paid the tickets for 20 yuan, walked along the path to the seaside, passed a canteen and entered the park. In fact, the park was built by local villagers with funds, with imperfect facilities and general management, but the scope is very small, and the whole distance is less than 100 meter. Because the terrain here leads directly to the sea, the rough East China Sea is on the left, and the "shallow strait" with relatively gentle water flow is on the right. The current is sharp on the left and slow on the right, hence the name advection tail. About 300 kilometers across the sea is Diaoyu Island in Yilan County, Taiwan.

It is really a good place to watch the waves in Hai Wen, enjoy the return of the island and bathe in the sea breeze and sunshine. Standing anywhere on the reef, looking at the sea from a distance, the blue sky is at the end of the sea, and white clouds are reflected in the sea, so you can't tell which is the sea and which is the sky. The sea is blue and blue, and the slightly surging white waves roll on it, and soon disappear without a trace, while another place forms new waves, and so on. A cargo ship sailed to the sea, and the bow plowed out a V-shaped foam, which spread to both sides until it disappeared. The waves spread to the reef and turned into fine waves and rushed to the reef head, thinking about it. From right to left, you can see a reef in the sea. I think it should be connected with it, but because of the tempering of years, the middle is eroded by seawater and separated from the land. The reef is not big, but it is shaped like a mountain. The middle is as round as steamed bread, and the right side is like a knife and axe, which gives you the feeling of standing on the wall. The one on the left collapsed like a mountain and piled a pile of stones there. On the left, you can also see an island in the distance. The island is tree-lined and uninhabited. There is an artificial building above. Some people say it is Mazu Tempel, and it looks like it.

Sitting on the reef by the sea, bathed in the sea breeze and sunshine, watching the traces left by the years can leave endless reverie. The grooves on the hard rock crisscross; The rocks are full of potholes, and some of them are broken into gullies, so people can't get through. The largest is like a miniature grand canyon with short pine trees on it, which is a bit like a garden landscape. Some were washed into the pool, and there was still residual seawater in it. These are the eternal masterpieces of the sea. There are brown algae on the rocks by the sea. Everyone who knows it says it's wild laver, the best laver. Unfortunately, the reef is slippery, steep and a little dangerous, and no one dares to go down and pick it. Look at the sea below, clear and bright, showing an intoxicating green.

Go up the boardwalk and you come to the highest place in the park. There is a radar facing the sea, which keeps turning. Above is a Little Square, next to which a boulder is exposed, which reads "Jiaonan Village Cultural and Sports Square". A walk along the square will end the trip.
