When do you think it's time to leave your job?

Because I am considering leaving my job recently, I am attracted by this question and want to participate in the discussion of this topic.

?

The last time I resigned was in May, 20 17, and I joined my present company. It's been over two years now.

?

The last company was a Taiwan Province company. I have been a quality engineer for six years. The division of functions of each department is very clear, and the process is relatively standardized. Dealing with problems is like a set of formulas. Generally, there is no big problem, and the working hours are relatively fixed. Basically, I can finish my work during normal working hours and rarely work overtime. This kind of company is very suitable for newcomers. It can not only systematically understand a company's model, but also cultivate its own logic to deal with problems. You can also take part in training or self-study in your spare time to improve your ability. The company made great progress in the first few years.

However, the shortcomings of Taiwanese companies are also obvious. First, the salary is low. Because the system is mature, the cost of training a new person will not be too high. Companies like to use graduates, which is easy to teach, fast and cheap. However, newcomers will generally change jobs for better treatment after 2-3 years, so the turnover rate is high, and Taiwanese companies have also sent many talents abroad, haha.

Second, there is limited room for improvement, on the one hand, jobs, on the other hand, vocational skills.

?

Now tell me about my present company and why I want to leave.

?

This is a private enterprise. I wonder what your impression of private enterprises is? I just want to shake my head and sigh. In a word, chaos! ! !

First, the function is not clear.

The management document doesn't stipulate what you should and shouldn't do, but all departments think that as long as the problem that can't be solved is your quality problem, you can do whatever the leader asks you to do (mainly depending on whether your leader likes the job or not) and don't accept refutation. For example, the R&D drawings are not marked with key dimensions, and the batch is abnormal. People will ask why your quality is not recognized, not why your R&D is not marked. For example, the inspection of whether the materials used for spare parts conform to the certification (dozens of models are certified by R&D, and the BOM is also made by R&D) should be put forward by our quality, and R&D investigation is needed to provide me with a solution to correct it. When I find this inconsistent, your R&D will be punished. Now it's the leader who takes over the job, let's make our own investigation, and then chase R&D's ass for correction. Now we are exhausted. Through the leadership's "efforts", QE can cover almost all documents required by the ISO system, as long as they are the desired documents, except SOP. ...

Second, the process is chaotic.

I can't find the chapter at all. For example, if the quality is abnormal, you need to take stock of the material inventory. Material control never knows the specific quantity. You have to ask the quality yourself in the warehouse, and the system is always lagging behind! For example, the defective materials caused by production should be returned to the supplier for maintenance and tracked by SQE, and the incoming materials do not have to be submitted to IQC for inspection. If they are found to be defective materials, they will go online. There are countless such things.

Third, work overtime to death.

What private enterprises have to say is the most famous, and it is estimated that they must work overtime. There's nothing to say, it's just an atmosphere. From top to bottom, those who spend more than 80 hours are ordinary engineers, not to mention front-line employees. From then on, the little girl became a woman. During the interview, I said that it is acceptable to work overtime two or three times from Monday to Friday and twice in January on weekends. After all, there are only a handful of companies that don't work overtime now. After joining the company, I hardly have days when I don't work overtime. On Saturdays, all are added by default. If I don't work overtime, I have to ask the leader for leave.

It can only show that the above two points lead to half the effort, and it takes several times of energy to do the same thing. Heart tired.

I'm just an engineer. I can't change the company environment. I just want to escape.

?

As a second-born mother, I can't help Dabao study every day, and Bao Xiao can't accompany me. By the time I got home, the two little guys had already gone to bed, so I felt very guilty before going out in the morning. That's why I want to leave my job now. I want to work, but I don't want to devote all my time to the company.

Looking back on my own experience, there are many reasons for leaving my job, and every reason can strengthen my determination to leave my job at the moment when it pops up. Here are two resignation experiences.

This reason is most common among newcomers who have just entered the workplace for less than three years. Looking back on my first company, I am grateful for it. After all, it was its acceptance that made me, a non-computer major, enter the IT industry. But it can't escape the common fault of most companies: they are willing to pay a high salary to hire people from outside, and they are unwilling to give employees who have worked for them for several years a raise.

I remember that after a year and a half, I had an opportunity to adjust my salary according to the company's rules and regulations, but this opportunity prompted me to leave. It started when the HR director took the initiative to talk to me about salary adjustment. At that time, my salary was still the salary I started when I graduated. Apart from food, accommodation, telephone and internet fees, I basically have no money. Because the salary base is too low, I thought about giving me at least a 50% increase, but the final answer was 200 yuan. I suddenly froze, thinking that this is to send beggars? I immediately refused this salary increase and got an Offer that doubled my salary within one month.

I think many people have had this experience in the first few years of work! Fortunately, this reason for resignation is an improvement for us and a positive energy of self-confidence. And the following reason for my resignation is a disastrous blow to my self-confidence.

I received two job offers at the end of last year. One was directly recommended by the previous company leaders, and stayed in the original city without going through the interview process; The other one was obtained after three rounds of interviews. Because the second Offer company is a financial product, and has reached the B round of financing, I also have the so-called "option", so I chose this company.

After joining the company, I found that the so-called financial products are also immature and need to be constantly polished and improved through projects. What's worse is that there is no mature team to do the project. What's worse is that the power to form the project team is not mine, which leads to uneven ability of team members and sharp increase in management difficulty. Everyone in the workplace knows that everyone is closely related to the recruiter, and because of the company's chaotic management mechanism across management levels, when I tried my best to integrate the team, everyone didn't resist as a member of the team, but only helped as a secondment to this project.

After nearly half a year, I found myself really weak and tired. I finally chose naked resignation and left in mid-May. I am also relieved that I finally don't have to wait on those "grandfathers" anymore.

It is the greatest gain to regard the workplace as a long practice of life and transform yourself while tasting the ups and downs. All kinds of wonderful reasons for quitting, as long as you follow the sincerity of that moment, you don't have to regret the decision you made for it. Because every decision leads us to a different path of practice.

Tell me about the last time you resigned.

Hotel sales work is cross-industry, which is completely strange to me, but because of my previous work experience, I know many hotel customers.

My work is urgent. The last salesman 10 will leave in a few days, and no one has been found yet. I just submitted my resume and interviewed for more than 2 hours. I hope to be employed immediately. I agreed, and I'll start the handover right away. When handing over, I found it was a mess and reluctantly took over. Because the handover was too chaotic, there was a contradiction with the old salesman (the old salesman wanted to take the customer away and refused to hand over properly), which led to the incomplete handover.

Due to the resignation of the old salesman, many customers were taken away, and the sales pressure was great. I shamelessly let the customers I knew before spend in our hotel, which reduced a lot of losses.

Because it is a new hotel, the opening promotion is insufficient, the promotion measures are not in place, and the occupancy rate has been unable to go up. Every day, I went out to the customer's factory, visited almost all the enterprises in the county that could be named, and developed 4.5 listed enterprises into stable customers, and also developed my old club into the largest customer. In a small county, there is a five-star family and several four-star families. We are also four stars. To tell the truth, the hotel has given few resources to develop and stabilize these customers. I don't even have the right to sign a bill to invite customers to drink coffee in the lobby bar. I have to take it by my own face.

What did you get in return? -the deputy team leader (the person put in by the boss) is dissatisfied and criticizes endlessly. She comes to see you every day and has a small group every day. There are five women. She joined many groups.

To tell the truth, in terms of sales, I can bear it.

But there are two things I can't stand anymore, which led me to leave my job.

First, I have a client who was entertaining in the hotel lobby on weekend nights (involving money, which is illegal), and was just met by a policeman who happened to be patrolling and brought into the station. When I got off work, I didn't know this happened until the customer called to scold me (the customer had left the station for more than three hours). Nearly an hour later, the deputy leader called me and asked me if I knew about it. I explained the communication with customers. I asked what to do next, and she actually started cursing. There is no further suggestion after the scolding. Then I called the director directly (the boss of the deputy leader and the boss of the sales department) to explain the situation. As a result, the director didn't know about it at all, and no one reported it to him (here is the deputy head on duty that night, and she must report it as soon as possible).

Why didn't she tell me at the first time that the client was taken away by the police? She could have told me the first time, and then called me to scold me, just to see me make a fool of myself and fuck me. Fortunately, I didn't say anything wrong when communicating with my customers, otherwise I would have been killed.

The second thing, I spent more than half a year following up a big company and finally grabbed an activity from others. I really want to do this activity well and stabilize this customer, so I went to the deputy head (why not the director, because the director was taken away by them in partnership, and she has the final say) to coordinate the customer, and finally negotiated the price and settled it. I asked the deputy leader for advice. After all, it was the first time I was in charge of the activity and asked her what she needed to pay attention to during the activity. She said it was good this time, no problem, and she would help me solve it. Probably cheated a lot, so I asked another old employee. As a result, people pointed out many problems to me and asked me to solve them quickly. I quickly discussed with the customer and got a preliminary result. Sure enough, at the preparatory meeting of this activity, she attacked in front of the leaders of various departments. She said rudely, there are too many questions. Don't you see what you are doing?

My heart is really full of 100 thousand grass mud horses. If I'm not ready, it's not only futile, but also wrong.

After this activity, I left my job soon because I was completely chilling.

A word of advice, don't take work as your life. Your mind, even 1.20% of your efforts, is replaced by being hurt and being able to be hurt. It's better to say it. Choice is more important than hard work.

I submitted my resignation two months in advance at the end of 20 14. A company that has grown up there for more than ten years contains too many joys and sorrows, but after all, when it is time to make some changes in life, it is still necessary to try.

Since joining the company in 2000, I started as a grass-roots worker, experienced all the common problems in my bloody career, and gradually grew up. After climbing into the leadership for almost four years, I brought a team behind me and created an average annual sales of several hundred million for the company. Maybe my ambition is not big enough, maybe I have been down-to-earth for a long time, and I didn't know that I was just an ordinary employee in the company except giving orders until I got married. The once insignificant small company has become an ambitious and rich industrial enterprise, and the chairman of the board has changed from a big brother who cares for himself and takes care of his employees, to a slut who is addicted to money, parties, lives a high life, is extravagant and full of evil. When there is no hope, it is time to find another direction for your life goals. ...

An ordinary employee, a senior technician or an excellent manager and so on. They all work in different industries. Everyone just runs for life. If the company can give you material resources and living security, there are still many people who choose to work hard. However, if you just fool you, you won't find the direction of life, you won't realize your values, and you won't be able to stop your eagle from spreading its wings and folding its arms. What's the use of staying

I'm about to resign. There are two main reasons.

One is that the composition of wages is unreasonable, and wages are usually less. The other is that you can't learn anything, which is far behind the average level of the times.

In response to the first point, I have been employed for two years and have not received a raise. After the adjustment of the provident fund in July, it is estimated that it will reach 2500 yuan per month. There is a year-end bonus at the end of the year, and the amount is not necessarily. Won more than 30 thousand last year. I don't know. This year, it's entirely up to the leaders. So it is full of uncertainty. He was sent to work in the chemical plant project department, 20 kilometers away from the company, to develop on the spot, without subsidies, but he could leave work 15 minutes early.

Second, the framework developed before 10 is business-driven. I was very interested when I just graduated and didn't see the world. Now I feel very good. . . A lot of data maintenance work is done every day, and some business operations of the owner are also assigned to him, such as helping others to maintain hundreds of project information. There is no document yet, so it can't be imported in batches and can only be entered manually. I feel that I have turned a programmer into a clerk. Well, it's also used for operation and testing. The decision under the leadership of the company is a bit embarrassing. Generally, I won't listen to your opinions, and I will make great efforts to solve problems.

The leaders of the directly affiliated departments are very thoughtful, but the nature of the company limits them. People are still nice, but ... . After all, it is mainly the company's problem. Not suitable for young people who just graduated.

I have been trying to read books recently. I don't want to stay any longer. I want to struggle.

I worked part-time in a counseling institution a few days ago and resigned yesterday.

I didn't have a holiday until mid-July, so I asked my best friend to help me find a job. She found me a job as a tutor in a primary school. The salary is not high, but it is good for my future. One is how to get along with primary school students, and the other is to pave the way for the teacher qualification examination in the future.

Take notes carefully during training and ask all kinds of questions to prevent things from being criticized and unqualified.

On the first day of work, I was full of expectations, but I found that there were too many things we needed to do. Classes begin at 8: 00, and we should arrive before 7: 30, and take charge of leading primary school students to the classroom. They are not allowed to appear in the kindergarten play area. A class lasts for 30 minutes. We need to have eight classes every day and have a ten-minute break. 1 1 After school ends at half past ten, a teacher is responsible for leading the pupils who go home for dinner to the door until they are picked up by their families. Children who eat in counseling institutions are concentrated in a large classroom, and a teacher is specially left to watch, and no chasing and slapstick behavior is allowed.

The remaining teachers are responsible for moving desks and chairs and cooking. When the children in kindergarten have finished eating, they will send a teacher to call the students down for dinner. It is my job to call the roll before eating, which makes me almost the last one to eat. After dinner, a teacher continued to watch the students until two o'clock in the afternoon. The rest of the teachers clean up. After school in the afternoon, teachers should clean the classroom, not only sweeping the floor, but also mopping the floor. It's like capitalism squeezing college students and we become coolies.

At first, there was a girl who learned her driver's license and delayed her work for a few days. These days, I help her look after her classes and take good care of them. After a few days, I found that I had done more work than anyone else. Generally, remedial classes ignore these things, and we don't want to move when we come home from work every day.

Forced, I sent a long message to the person in charge of the school in private. The general content is that the work is too complicated, either giving us a raise or increasing the number of people to share the pressure. I also sent this message to other teachers and asked them if they had any suggestions. They didn't. They followed me and sent this passage to the director. The next day, I was called by the director and said that I was demagogic and scheming. He has found someone to replace me, saying in front of others that I am under great pressure to study and can't do my job. The director believed someone's story, but he didn't observe it with his own eyes and didn't give me enough trust. I did more than anyone, but I ended up like this.

I have left my job for a month.

The reason is that the boss took the plan I wrote and compared it with the plan worth 400 thousand he got from his brother, and gave me a detailed case arranged by the propagandist, which was detailed to the time and the specific person in the morning, noon and evening. In fact, he clearly knew that I was the only one doing this job, and he smiled and told me that there must be a pattern and be bold in doing things.

Are you kidding? The bold result is that the budget cost of the scheme is reduced from nearly100,000 to 20,000 (he chose all channels, and I begged my father to tell my grandmother to quote). Are you kidding me? Let me arrange someone. A company is either the boss or the director, just me, and I have to supervise others to advertise and send screenshots of friends every morning, noon and evening.

Copywriting is being done, planning is being done, new media operation and promotion are being done, website content is being filled, customers are inviting exchanges, and the work content and intensity of three or four people are all sitting alone. I am surrounded by trivial matters every day, and my grades have not been achieved. I am so busy that I have to pay attention to all the details. I know that no matter how good it is for me, I really can't do it anymore.

I submitted my resignation report three days ago. At that time, the factory was just established, and the boss asked me for help. He asked me three times. At that time, he refused and came, buying machines, tools, assembly lines and recruiting employees. Now it's only slightly improved. The boss's good friend entered the company and bossed her around every day. The boss has something to tell her. She's telling me that her classmates don't know anything. She knows beep every day.

I have some personal experience about this problem.

I used to work in an educational equipment company with more than 20 employees. Apart from the lowest-level workers, there are only four employees (so-called managers) in the office. Of course, I am one of them. Let's talk briefly about our four employees. The earliest employee was Sister He, who joined the company in 1994 and just joined the company for two years. Her main job is to contact customers and be the boss's right-hand man. Brother Zhou, in 1995, worked as a tender for one year; Brother Zhang, in 1995, joined the company for two months and made a tender.

The company was founded in 2005. I'm afraid Sister He is the only person who can be regarded as an "old employee" so far, and she has only been employed for two years. What does this mean? The company can't keep people! As for why I can't keep people, I'll talk about it later.

Briefly talk about how I entered this company. Because I have been working from the media, I have invested a lot of copywriting work on the Internet. Sister He of the company sent me an interview invitation. By the way, Sister He is really dedicated to the company, and I admire her! ) During the interview, Sister He said that she could give me a probation period of 5,000 yuan.

I didn't reply immediately. After that, I interviewed five new media companies, but they were either poorly treated or failed to meet their expectations, and finally they couldn't find a satisfactory company. At that time, my family was very anxious and more and more annoyed, so I had to settle for the second best and chose this educational equipment company.

The first day I entered this company, I actually felt pretty good. That company is small and flat, and my colleagues are all very nice. I didn't do any substantive work that day.

But on the first day I arrived at the company, I encountered a small problem, that is, my three colleagues are all Cantonese, and they basically communicate in Cantonese, but I don't know Cantonese at all. This makes me a little fidgety. I feel that there is an invisible wall separating me from the small circle of this office. Of course, this is not a big problem. After all, it is normal to feel alienated on the first day of work.

In the next few days, the boss directly threw me a tender and asked me to follow the template. At first, I had no idea. After taking the initiative to consult colleagues, the work gradually got on the right track. The deadline for this bid is July 20th, so I, a novice, only have ten days to make the bid. It is not difficult to make a tender, but it is very complicated. All projects should be listed according to the requirements of the tender documents, and every detail can't be wrong, otherwise the bid may be scrapped.

Because of this, the job of tender preparation is unpopular, because it requires very strict details, and because of the particularity of the work, it is often necessary to revise the tender again and again, and overtime is also common. Of course, because I made it clear to my boss before I entered the company that I didn't want to work overtime, I still lived an eight-to-six life for a while.

However, what really makes me want to leave is that the employees of the company have resigned. Not long ago, my colleagues Zhou Ge and Zhang Ge both chose to resign for a simple reason: small companies have no foreseeable future and no room for development!

Brother Zhou invited me to dinner before he left. When chatting, he said to me, "I can see that the boss attaches great importance to you." I hope I can train you to be as talented as Sister He. Do it well! " I looked at Zhou Ge's lonely expression and felt a little lost. Brother Zhou is a very capable employee. He has made at least eight bids in one year, which is regarded as the backbone. However, it is such a backbone who chose to leave. Obviously, this is not a problem for Zhou Ge, but a problem for the company.

Why the company can't keep people, I summed up three points:

First, the company is small in scale and can see the future at a glance;

Second, the boss is too controlling and wants employees to stay in the company for 24 hours;

Third, the tender preparation is cumbersome and the staff is under too much pressure.

Of course, although I have the idea of leaving my job, I am still working in the company. After all, I have to earn money to support myself before I can find a new home.

Resigned on July 30th. The reason for leaving my job is simple, that is, I am tired. I was sick and hospitalized some time ago, and I couldn't find a substitute for my job. Someone told my clients about me directly, and then asked them to complain about my leader directly. I didn't know about it until I came back to work, but I was very upset. During the hospitalization, I didn't slack off at work. I dealt with what I could, and I was stabbed when I was communicating with many people.

This is a lot of things. I did a good job and tried my best to do it. I didn't expect to be stabbed in the back, and I'm not good at sophistry. So I left. Sometimes leaving is really a temporary decision, but I feel very wronged.
