Common solid wood materials for stairs in the market are: Fraxinus mandshurica, rubber wood, beech wood, American oak, rosewood and so on.

1, Fraxinus mandshurica: hard texture, heavy specific gravity, high strength and compact structure. Moisture-proof, wear-resistant, not easy to cement, good coloring performance, rough texture, thick tracheid, obvious wood rays, not easy to dry. At present, the large-diameter Fraxinus mandshurica in the domestic market is basically imported from Russia. Because the pattern of Fraxinus mandshurica resembles American oak, this part of raw materials are exported to the United States in large quantities.

2. Rubber wood: It is a Euphorbiaceae tree with light color, hard texture and compact structure. It should be noted that rubber wood and oak are completely different, not a grade of wood. In product introductions and advertisements, rubber wood cannot be called oak. It is misleading to call rubber wood oak for short in the market.

3, beech: basically imported from Europe, beech is also a hardwood, delicate texture. However, beech has been replaced by black walnut and American oak in recent two years as the main decoration material because of its poor stability and unobtrusive texture.

4. American oak: divided into white oak and red oak. Oak is thick and hard, with high strength, and the pattern is sometimes both rigid and flexible, giving people a feeling of unrestrained personality and excellent modeling effect, so it is favored by the decoration market.

5, rosewood: the material has the characteristics of stability and nobility, and is often used as the main material for decoration. Stairs are an example. At present, among the commonly used stair materials in the market, mahogany stairs are genuine, because since they are imported, no one will spend a lot of money to import garbage.
