The Drama Series Review

"The Brave Detective" is a companion piece to "The Forensic Record" produced by Hong Kong TVB, starring Yuen Jieying, Nick Cheung and Kwok Jinan. The play inherits the consistent style of Hong Kong police dramas and interprets the emotional life of police officers in the exciting and suspenseful development of the case. The story tells the story of Zhang Guofeng, a senior inspector of the anti-gangster group, who was so passionate about the police profession that he even sacrificed his family for his work. Inspector Zhou Jiarong of the Serious Crime Unit is Zhang Guofeng's colleague and good friend, and his mission is to annihilate the world's bad guys. Although the two have disputes at work, it does not hinder their continuous cooperation. The plot of "The Record of the Brave Detective" is compact and the dialogue design is relatively unique. Sometimes it is humorous and funny, and sometimes it is thought-provoking. Especially the dialogue between Guofeng, Jiarong and Aqiu is always interesting and makes people feel natural and real.
