Yangcheng Lake
Also known as Yangcheng Lake. In southern Jiangsu Province, five kilometers northeast of Suzhou City, it spans Wu County and Kunshan County. On the bank of Yangcheng Lake, it borders Shanghai to the east and Suzhou to the west. Beijing-Shanghai Railway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway 312 National Highway all pass by the district. It is only half an hour's drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. It has a coastline of 9.67 kilometers, which is winding and poetic. It is 17 kilometers long from north to south and 8 kilometers wide from east to west, with an area of ??117 square kilometers and a water storage capacity of 370 million cubic meters. Yangcheng Lake has a total water surface of 180,000 acres. It is one of the lakes in the lower reaches of Taihu Lake and is a remnant of ancient Taihu Lake. There are two sand ridges lined up in the lake, dividing Yangcheng Lake into three lakes: East, Middle and West. East Lake is the largest, with a water depth of 1.7-2.5 meters; Middle Lake and West Lake have a water depth of 1.5-3.0 meters. The water comes from Nayuanhetang in the west, flows out from Qiputang, Yanglintang and Jihe River in the east and flows into the Yangtze River. It flows out from Loujiang River in the south and is connected with Wusong River, Chenghu Lake and Dianmao Lake Group. Therefore, the unique water environment, geographical location and aquatic environment have created the characteristics of Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs that are different from hairy crabs in other lake areas. Yangcheng Lake is rich in aquatic resources. Yangcheng Lake is rich in 70 kinds of freshwater products. White fish, silver carp, clean water shrimp and hairy crabs are the "six treasures in the lake". Among them, the clear water hairy crabs of Yangcheng Lake, known as the "King of Crabs", are even more famous at home and abroad. .
