Brief introduction of Wawushan scenic spot

Wawushan Scenic Area is located in Hongya County on the western edge of Sichuan Basin. Wawushan National Forest Park is a new tourist attraction. Together with Emei Mountain and Leshan Giant Buddha, it forms the Golden Triangle in southwest Sichuan and has been included in international tourist routes. Hongya is 0/47km away from Chengdu/KLOC-,55km away from Leshan and 54km away from Emei. Hongya has beautiful mountains and rivers and beautiful scenery, and enjoys the reputation of "elegance and nature" and "Pearl of the Green Sea".

The park is mainly composed of Yuping Artificial Linhai Holiday Scenic Spot, Bamian Mountain Ancient Search Range Rover Scenic Spot and Wawushan Primitive Forest Adventure Scenic Spot, which is the core scenic spot. There are more than 3,600 species of plants in the park, and the total number of angiosperms accounts for 60% of the world's angiosperms. Known as the cradle and differentiation center of angiosperms in the world. The national first-class protected plants are Davidia involucrata, Azolla, Hemlock, Taxus chinensis and so on. There are more than 460 species of wild animals, including 6 species of first-class protected animals such as panda, antelope, black zygomatic and green-tailed pheasant, and 2 species of second-class protected animals such as red panda and monkey 17.

Due to geological action, Wawu Mountain has formed a roof-like terrain slightly inclined to the east and west sides. No matter from which angle, the whole mountain looks like Wawu Mountain, hence its name. The hilltop platform is about 1 1 km2, with a length of 3,375 meters from north to south and a width of 3,475 meters from east to west, with an average elevation of 2,830 meters, which is higher than the "Table Mountain" in Inner Mongolia. In Qing Dynasty, He Ji Shao called it "the open plateau", but among the people, it was called "the rooftop on earth". On the hilltop platform, 1500 mu of primitive cold cloud forest is vast and desolate. Because Wawu Mountain is located in the "West China Rain Curtain" area, the forest vegetation is well preserved, so the water mountain is low. There are more than 80 springs under the forest, which flow continuously, forming 72 waterfalls, among which Lanxi, Yuanyang and Yangxi are the three waterfalls, and the total length of Lanxi Waterfall is 1040 meters, which is amazing. The southeast of Wawushan Yuanyang Pool is fascinating, with complex terrain and abnormal geological structure. Even the compass, compass and clock will fail here. Someone once strayed into it and couldn't return, and then escaped according to the principle of three points and one line and the natural law of water flowing downwards.

From the Zhou and Qin Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many Mohe poets have been to Wawu Mountain, such as Deng Tong, Pi Zhi, Zhang Daoling, Zhuge Liang, Ge Hong, Su Shi, Lu You, An, and How. They all became attached to Wawu Mountain, leaving many well-known works and beautiful legends. At present, many famous scientists and cultural figures have visited Wawu Mountain, leaving extremely precious records.

Wawu Mountain is a comprehensive large-scale national forest park with forest tourism, sightseeing, summer vacation, ancient range rover, exploration and scientific research as its main contents. Since 1993 was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry in March, the development process of the whole park has been further accelerated. In recent years, Yuping Forest Resort, Wawushan Jinhua Bridge, Gufoping, Xianger Mountain Villa, Guangxiang Mountain Villa, Wawushan Hotel and other tourist service points have been built in Yuping Mountain and Wawushan Mountain successively, as well as the scenic road from Gufoping to Daiguocao. 1996 Wawushan passenger ropeway has also been put into operation. 1997 was rated as one of the top ten forest parks in China, and 1999 was listed as one of the three national forest parks designated by the State Forestry Administration. It can meet the needs of people from all walks of life and all kinds of tourists at different levels, and it is an ideal place for people to carry out eco-tourism, leisure vacation, popular science research, exploration, photography and sketch, hold meetings and carry out patriotic education.
