There are a lot of coins in the meter, and roadside stalls are more expensive than high-end restaurants. Let's talk about the wonderful things we met in Vietnam.

This is the ninth of 99 honeymoon trips for a lazy cat while opening a shop and still taking care of the young and old. The destination is northern Vietnam.

Because of its complicated relationship with Chinese history, Vietnam has a poor reputation in the hearts of Chinese people. However, low prices, beautiful beaches and mixed-race customs of China and France are all great temptations.

For this beautiful country, we are already two brushes. /kloc-At the height of the South China Sea arbitration in 0/6, we stayed in South Vietnam for a month and felt good. Now that the relationship is warming up, there is nothing to worry about. This idea is the root of our carelessness.

Buy a ticket at Nanning Tourism Center, transfer to Vietnam at Pingxiang Friendship Pass, and arrive in Hanoi after 7 hours.

The place to get off is not a regular station, but a small window for buying tickets. It is 4 kilometers away from our destination, Repairing Jianhu Lake. Four white taxis near the facade have been waiting for this car for a long time.

Traveling outside, my boss and I are used to enjoying the scenery with our feet. 4 kilometers is not a problem for us. But after seven hours of bumps and heavy luggage, taking a taxi seems to be the best choice.

Previously, hackers had already made preparations for detours. As early as the friendship, they have already changed into Vietnamese mobile cards. The precise positioning of Google Maps can ensure that we will not be fooled. In addition, the pleasant experience of visiting Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang in Vietnam last time also made us give up thinking. After explaining to the driver that we hit the meter, we went into the pit.

This car is not equipped with a car map like a taxi in the south. The proprietress has been observing the mobile phone map all the way. He really didn't take a detour and arrived at his destination in less than 10 minutes. Then point to the number on the watch: 550000!

The face value of the Vietnamese dong was particularly large. At that time, RMB 1 was equal to 3600 Vietnamese dong. The distance of four kilometers will not exceed that of 20 yuan in China, and even less in Viet Nam, which is famous for its low price. However, 550,000 yuan is equivalent to RMB 152 yuan! Obviously, we met ourselves. We set the meter by zero.

We reason with him, and drivers who can only say "look" obviously can't communicate. He made a phone call, and there was a man on the other end who could speak broken Chinese to communicate with us. Of course, don't expect a black driver who even modified the meter to make a phone call to help you uphold justice.

It's already torn, so we can only minimize the loss. I propose 100000, which is equivalent to RMB 28. He proposed 500,000 yuan, equivalent to RMB 139. When we didn't agree, he started the car and pulled us away. Compared with the safety of the elderly and children, the loss of 139 yuan is insignificant. We finally chose to compromise.

After paying the money, the red-faced driver regained his courtesy for a second and helped us with our luggage first. Professional attitude is really commendable.

This is the first expense after our trip to Vietnam. We spent 10 times more on a class. This experience won us the victory of returning to Hanoi a month later to compete with another black car driver.

It was the day before we left Vietnam, and we were taken to the underground long-distance bus station by the bus from Tsinghua to Hanoi. Six kilometers away, the luggage of the old man and the child is almost the same scene.

We asked the uniformed station staff to help us stop an ordinary taxi. After telling the driver the specific location with the map, the driver made it clear, and then took us out of the station, crossed the road and headed straight for the east of the ring expressway. And our destination is just north of us, and the nearest distance from it has just passed.

The driver is still driving fast eastward. Seeing that the map showed that there was no straight road ahead, I quickly stopped the driver. After pulling over, I picked up Google Maps and told him that I was going the wrong way. The driver's trick was caught, his expression was extremely unnatural, and he gestured blindly to explain it. Probably to rebuild a one-way street or something, but the road around the city is clearly explained on the map.

I was angry, pointing to a straight line between the starting point and the destination on the map, and pointing to a big semicircle he planned to walk, I asked loudly why. ! He was scared and told me that he would turn around at the previous intersection. I don't agree. The next roundabout around the city is not far away.

Finally, I won the prize. Before he put forward, the watch he played didn't count until he got back to the right route. I agree. Soon we arrived at the destination, 6.8 kilometers, and the fare was more than ten yuan. He was polite all the way, like a child who did something wrong.

For poor tourists like us who spend less than 15 thousand a month, taking a taxi is just what we need. Many times, it is normal to carry more than five kilometers, or even to accompany the boss's wife for more than ten kilometers. Many cities in Vietnam are too small to take a taxi. Eating is something that everyone has to face, and fighting with Vietnamese food stalls that every meal has to face is a very headache.

Northern and southern Vietnam are like two different countries. Southerners are easy-going and polite, and seldom lie. Northerners, on the other hand, are not only ugly, but selling the same thing to foreigners will definitely be more expensive than selling it to locals.

In the ancient city of Hue, the old lady's chicken leg powder stand on the roadside was packed with diners. According to past experience, such a stall must be delicious. Rice flour is the most common food in Vietnam, and 2 yuan is less than a bowl. The average price of many beef, mutton or super-large trotters is around 10 yuan. Hungry, we thought we wouldn't kill customers in front of so many diners, right? So I boldly ordered a bowl, made the powder and collected more than 50 yuan.

50 yuan bought a bowl of rice flour at an average price of 10 yuan, which has been calculated. Even during a very pleasant trip to South Vietnam in 16, I was robbed of the biggest sum of money by a masked old woman carrying a pole on the beach in Minai. 139 yuan a coconut, I drink tears.

Figure: Vietnamese rice noodles with an average price less than 10 yuan.

At the motorcycle ice cream stand on Longqiao in Da Nang, a lovely European and American girl, like me, asked how much an ice cream was. Without saying anything, the stall owner put the most valuable VND 200,000 in her hand into her coat pocket, and then gave her an ice cream worth more than 2 yuan. The whole action is very familiar, without any hesitation. After a while, her boyfriend, 190, came over and pointed angrily at the ice cream vendor's coat pocket. Without saying anything, the stall owner returned the money with a smile. There is no hesitation in the process of refunding money.

Even at the daily average price of 10 yuan, most Vietnamese who order the same content at the next table will pay less from 2 yuan to 4 yuan than we do. This price difference is not a rip-off in Vietnam. After all, it is not a probability of 100%, and occasionally you can meet merchants with the same conscience as locals. But some cities are so absolute, such as the tourist city of Hoi An.

The distance from Hui 'an to Da Nang is 20 kilometers, and the regular bus charges foreigners 5 yuan more. In this tourist city where there are more China girls wearing Aobao than Vietnamese girls wearing Aobao, we can't find a food stall with an average price in every street and alley.

Accustomed to all kinds of pits, we decided to have money and only eat high-end restaurants for the next trip. After all, this restaurant is 2-3 times cheaper than the same level in Wuhan, and the environmental service and hygiene are not bad. Price tag is not afraid of being cheated. But just a bowl of roadside stalls, not to mention environmental services and hygiene, but also bear the risk of eating Qingdao prawns.

Accommodation is the most comfortable all the way down, mainly using ankeda, and in most cases, the environment is good and the price is cheap. The only unpleasant reservation was the Avalon Hotel in Da Nang. It is clearly marked as a room for four people. When we arrived, the boss said that only two people could stay. At this time, the efficiency of Ankeda is fully reflected. At first, the Chinese service could not be connected, and later it was said that communication could only be completed by email.

E-mail is something that sends a sentence and waits for more than half an hour to reply. All morning, we were busy scrutinizing every word we sent in the past, fearing that we would have to wait for the next explanation if we missed any information, fearing that the other party would misunderstand because of too many swearing words in Chinese.

The system clearly indicates that the room can accommodate four people, but the boss insists that it can only accommodate two people. Is it the boss himself who marked the website wrong or the website system showed it wrong? After a long morning of communication, Ankeda's final notice is that we need to pay for this mistake by ourselves. Either open an extra room or add money. Don't even agree to return it.

The above is a series of exhausting experiences of traveling in northern Vietnam. I feel that this trip has been cheated more times than the sum of 20 years of poor travel. If I can gain experience by being cheated, I can improve many levels.

Finally, I would like to share the experience of pit prevention in Vietnam, all of which are lessons bought with real money. I hope it will help everyone:

In the face of taxis, you must find a regular company. The taxi company with the best reputation in Vietnam is Merlin, with green body painting and English Merlin logo. The driver is wearing overalls. If you can't hit Merlin, pay attention to the painting of other cars. The most pitted silver-white body, the taxi without advertisement, may be a cottage modification, and the meter is zero. Change your mobile phone to Vietnam's flow card as soon as possible, download Google Maps, and stop in time when you find a detour by taking a regular taxi. Vietnamese bully the weak and fear the hard, and are confident! When a black car was marked with multiple zeros, they asked to stop in time. This kind of person is robbing. The license plate is probably fake, not afraid at all. Stop loss in time can at least stop loss. Don't worry about your luggage when you arrive at the station. Go outside for a while and then go to the taxi that blocks the road. Don't go to the man waiting for the bus at the station. In addition, other Vietnamese cities except Hanoi have never encountered such a detour to modify taxis. The taxi experience in other places is very good, and drivers are polite and cheap.

Shopping must find a large supermarket, bigC is good, and the price is clearly marked. If there is no big supermarket, be sure to find a place with a clear price tag. If there is really no place to clearly mark the price, be sure to ask the boss's price before buying something. I mean to ask clearly with a calculator, not a simple and vague gesture.

If you eat and drink coffee and stay away from roadside stalls, you will be killed with great probability. The overall price in Vietnam is three times lower than that in big cities in China, and all kinds of high-end restaurants are completely affordable.
