Founder of Dabaijiu

According to the "Mei County Chronicle": On August 19, the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), Hao Xiaochun, a Wanshou Hotel at No. 185 South Street, Xijing (today's Xi'an), applied to the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Construction for Taibaijiu trademark registration. On September 28 of the same year, the Provincial Department of Construction reported the trademark to the Trademark Office of the Central Ministry of Economic Affairs of the National Government with the No. 235 of the Provincial Construction Department. Due to the Japanese invasion, the National Government moved the capital to Chongqing, and the approval of registered trademarks was stranded. On December 18, 1940, Xi'an South Street Wanshou Hotel, fearing that others would register the Taibaijiu trademark, published an advertising slogan in the form of a Taibaijiu pyramid in Xi'an Cultural News No. 4015. On December 7, 1942, the Trademark Office of the Central Ministry of Economic Affairs of the National Government registered Sichuan No. 11665. The document approved the registration of Taibaijiu trademark.
