Notice of Hangzhou Tourism 2018 What should you pay attention to in Hangzhou?
There are many things to pay attention to when traveling. The editor has compiled some precautions, hoping to be helpful to everyone. This includes transportation costs and nothing else. You can take a look. All are useful.
Catering
Hangzhou’s food is just like West Lake. One hundred people have one hundred kinds of feelings in their hearts. You should go to those well-known time-honored brands, but you should also pay attention to them so that you can eat more comfortably!
1. There are many branches of Zhiweiguan, and some of them do not sell snacks, so before going, you need to find out whether you want snacks or Hangzhou cuisine, and then decide which branch to go to.
2. Louwailou is located in Gushan Scenic Area. It is a very inconspicuous building, and the overall environment inside is average. But if you go early and sit by the window on the second floor, the view will be great, facing the small island in the middle of the West Lake. There are also many specialties such as West Lake Fish in Vinegar, which is also a time-honored brand in Hangzhou. If it’s your first time in Hangzhou, it’s worth a visit.
Go shopping
When you come to Hangzhou, you have to buy some local specialties produced in Hangzhou to take home. Silk, tea and clothing are the top three choices for trekkers. These special tips can help you complete your shopping task with ease!
1. Use supermarkets: There is a Carrefour at Yongjinmen on West Lake Avenue, open until 10 p.m. It is recommended that you can buy a lot of souvenirs there. It is a special product like tea. If you don’t understand, you can go to the supermarket to buy it. The price is fair and the quality is guaranteed.
2. Tea walnuts: Jiefang Road Tea Market, at the intersection of Jiefang Road and Youshengguan Road. In addition to selling tea, the market is also famous for its small walnuts. There is a kind of hand-peeled walnut produced in Lin'an. It tastes like cream. It is very convenient to eat and tastes good. About 30 yuan a bag. You can buy some to try.
3. Clothing market: Sijiqing is a wholesale market, similar to Shanghai Textile City; Longqiao is a food stall, similar to Qipu Road, but slightly higher than Qipu Road; Wulin Women’s Street is similar in style to Badimi The shopping mall has been moved to the ground; the Jiefang Road business district near the intersection of Yan'an Road and Jiefang Road, the Jiefang Department Store here is similar to Shibi No. 1 store; Yuanhua Mall is similar to Ganghui; and there is Wulinmen business district to the north of Yan'an Road, which is like Hangzhou. Department Store and Hangzhou Tower are similar to Huijin and Bailiu. Intime Department Store is similar to the renovated Oriental Commercial Building.
: Warm reminder
1. The booklet "Hangzhou Travel Guide" is available for free at hotels, tourist information points, airports and station information desks in Hangzhou. Edited by the Hangzhou Municipal Tourism Commission, it includes eight languages ??including Chinese, Japanese, English, Korean, German, French and Spanish. They gave a very detailed introduction to all the travel content in Hangzhou and its surrounding areas, which is of great reference value!
2. It is recommended not to live in the suburbs. The buses in Hangzhou close too early, making it difficult to get a taxi to the scenic spots and making it difficult to get back.
3. If you don’t understand tea, don’t buy it casually. There are authentic Longjing and Zhejiang Longjing.
4. Tourists should consciously care for the cultural relics, historic sites, flowers, plants and trees in various scenic spots, and should not graffiti on scenic spots and historic sites.
5. In recent years, the global climate has become abnormally warm. Hangzhou is very hot in July and August, with the highest temperature almost 40 degrees. Be sure to take measures to prevent heatstroke when going out, such as bringing sunscreen, an umbrella, and enough water.
Attention when traveling
January March to May and September to October are the peak tourist seasons in Hangzhou. It is recommended to book accommodation at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially some cost-effective rooms, otherwise you may not be able to book the ideal hotel.
Many attractions in Hangzhou are concentrated in the mountains. If you want to participate, you must bring a pair of comfortable shoes.
3. The distances between scenic spots in Hangzhou are generally relatively long. Unless you like walking, it is recommended to take the bus to save time and effort.
4. West Lake is located in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, and can be reached by bus or subway.
(1) Take Metro Line 1 to Longxiangqiao Station and walk 400 meters from the station to West Lake.
(2) Take Heyou 2 and get off at Sudi Station; take bus No. 28 and No. 15 and get off at Yuquan Station; take Bus No. 7 and No. 7 and get off at Yuefen Station.
Friendly reminder
Things in scenic spots are relatively expensive, so you
The operating hours of Hangzhou public transportation are generally 6:00-18 for tourist buses :00, suburban bus 6:00-18:00, urban bus 5:00-22:00. There are night buses 151, 152, 155, K56, K3, K8, and 201-213 that operate beyond 22:00. Bus No. 8 (Drum Tower-Desheng New Village), No. 228 (East Railway Station-Wulinmen), No. 251 (Railway Station-Gong Zhenqiao), and No. 208 all night. Departure times in the evening are divided into time periods.
The starting price of a taxi in Hangzhou is 10 yuan (4 kilometers), the unit price is 2 yuan per kilometer, and the unit price is 2.4 yuan per kilometer for more than 8 kilometers.
Most taxis in Hangzhou are Passat, Sonata, and Hongqi. It is difficult to get a taxi at 5 or 6 in the afternoon.
There are many hotels and guesthouses with various grades. You can choose according to your own needs. If you are coming during the peak tourist season, it is best to compare the booking situation in advance.
When going to Hangzhou in summer, you should pay attention to heatstroke prevention and hydration to avoid heat stroke. Try to travel in the early morning and evening to avoid the hot weather at noon.
You can prepare some effervescent vitamin C tablets to drink and supplement vitamins on the way. In addition, in order to eliminate fatigue during travel and oxidize the lactic acid accumulated in the body, you can also eat some vinegar with a plum in your mouth.
Be careful not to pay attention to those who sell tea pearls to outsiders. It's all fake. West Lake does not produce pearls.
Hangzhou is located in the subtropical monsoon zone with four distinct seasons. The climate is hot and humid in summer and is known as a small stove. On the contrary, winter is cold and dry. The climate in spring and autumn is pleasant, which is the golden season for sightseeing. Therefore, the time period for travel must be chosen correctly.
It is best to go out together in the evening.
: Transportation
1. Hangzhou is adjacent to Shanghai and is “dark under the lights”. Comrades who are more than 500 kilometers away from Hangzhou can check the air ticket information. Maybe there will be surprises.
2. Hangzhou’s taxis have won the reputation of “the worst in the country”, and their management level is almost the same as that of black taxis. It is common to refuse rides, take taxis, carpool, rip off customers, and take kickbacks. The service attitude is poor and the prices are high. At least 90 percent of the taxis cruising around West Lake during rush hour are ready to kill. What’s more, if you’re at the wrong time and place, you don’t even have a chance to get ripped off. Therefore, it is recommended to choose People’s Uber and use the next relevant APP on your mobile phone in case of emergency. The first advantage of Hangzhou Uber is that it is easy to drive, and theoretically there is no exclusion. Second, most of the current drivers are white-collar workers, and their cars are new cars within 5 years, with prices above 150,000. It has more software and hardware than taxis, and the price is cheaper; thirdly, remote billing is not easy to be cheated, and the potential safety factor is high.
3. The public transportation in Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area is relatively developed. It is recommended to apply for a travel consumption card. Once you have the card, you can take the bus without having to prepare any change for the water tanker. You can also rent public bicycles for almost free. Currently, due to the demolition of Longxiang Bridge, the Hangzhou Bus IC Card Center has been moved to Ding'an Road, Yinji City, 500 meters away from Ding'an Road Subway Station. No ID card and application form are required to apply for a travel consumption card. You can pay a deposit of 200 yuan and top up 100 yuan at window 6.
4. It is recommended to download and install the Hangzhou City Communication APP on your mobile phone. With this software, you can easily check the location and situation of public bicycle service points around you.
5. When renting a public bicycle, tall people should pay attention to the seat height. Don't rush to push it away. First, take care of the test ride, checking the tires, pedals, and brakes. Some public bicycles do not have locks, which means they cannot be parked outside service points. Choose them carefully. Currently, no one will check your condition when returning a public bicycle in Hangzhou, so even if the wheels and pedals fall off, it will not delay your return. But if a bigger problem arises, you can’t even move the parking space. It is recommended that you try to take your car to service centers such as Children's Palace and Liulang Wenying for repair.
6. It is not recommended to rent privately operated public bicycles. The high price is only one factor. The most important thing is that it is easy to borrow money and not pay it back.
You know, except for Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, cycling is not allowed in all SCs
7. When riding around the lake, be especially careful when passing Nanshan Road, which is located to the southwest of the West Lake. The bike lanes here are extremely narrow. Although Hangzhou's motor vehicles are known for giving way to pedestrians, electric vehicles still have the same characteristics as other cities. Some fast electric cars will honk their horns to warn you when overtaking, but some electric cars obviously worn by migrant workers are not only faster, but also silent. If it accidentally hits you, you will inevitably suffer physical pain, and your life may even be shattered. Moreover, it is difficult to obtain compensation for electric vehicles. Therefore, when riding on Nanshan Road, you must always be careful of electric vehicles coming up from behind.
8. The electric ferry on the West Lake only operates during the day, and the more expensive "West Lake Night Tour" operates after 5:30 pm every day. The "West Lake Night Tour" only stops at Zhouxiaoying (i.e. Silver Moon Beach) for 5 minutes. Among the five piers of the West Lake Ferry (Children's Palace, Zhongshan Park, Yuemiao Sailing, Guanyu, and King Qian Memorial Hall), Huagang Guanyu (Su Causeway) does not accept individual passengers. After purchasing the electric ferry ticket, landing on Xiaoying Island is free and there is no time limit for landing. You can choose to return to any dock on land.
9. Taking a boat trip to visit the three islands in the lake seems to be a beautiful choice. In fact, it is basically impossible, unless there are no old, weak, sick or pregnant women in the team, all members are strong men, there is no strong wind on the lake, the weather is suitable, and the time and budget are extremely sufficient. West Lake is bigger than you think, and rowing is harder than you think.
10. The water bus with Hangzhou characteristics is not easy to ride. First of all, don’t dream about Line 5 going through most of the city to Xixi Wetland. Anyway, I searched all the old and new piers in Wulinmen within the stipulated time, but I couldn't find any trace of the ferry, and the staff didn't know anything about it. Lines 1 and 2 normally run every 40 minutes and require long queues. And the boat cannot be overloaded, so we have to wait until after get off work. So if you want to take the bus, you must plan your trip well.
11. Although nominally all manned public transportation and bicycle service points can handle refunds of travel consumption cards, don’t worry about what the official website says. According to my on-site inquiries, general service points do not handle card refunds after 3:30 p.m., and larger central service points such as the Children's Palace only extend their service hours to 5 p.m. Even if the time limit is not met, he will still say "no change". If you can’t refund the card before leaving, you have to contribute to Hangzhou’s finances. It is recommended to return to the bus IC card center window 6 to refund the card. Before returning the card, you need to go to the inquiry machine at the bicycle service point, press the 2 button and then the confirmation button to withdraw the 200 yuan deposit from the company's bicycle system to the card.
12. Hangzhou has traffic restrictions, and the West Lake Scenic Area has even restrictions on odd and even numbers during holidays. It is not easy for foreign cars to come in, and you will be punished if you are not careful. Parking spaces in hotels of all sizes in the entire West Lake District are relatively tight (except for particularly large ones), and parking lots near scenic spots are all at shockingly high prices. In view of this, it is not recommended to travel by car to Hangzhou.
Visit
1. When you come to Hangzhou, you must visit the West Lake. First of all, there are many scenic spots along the West Lake, represented by the traditional "Ten Scenes of West Lake", including Wangyue Temple, Qianwang Memorial Hall, Jingci Temple, Xiling Seal Society, Zhejiang Museum Gushan Pavilion and other closed attractions, which are basically must-sees; This ranges to the north, west and south, and there are many famous scenic spots on the mountain, such as Longjing, Hupao, Liuhe Pagoda, Jiuxi Shibajian, Lingyin Temple, Santianzhu and Phoenix Mountain. In addition to West Lake, Hangzhou’s Xixi Wetland, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Qinghefang are also famous tourist attractions. Finally, there are many interesting old houses and museums in the old town of Hangzhou. You can also take a look.
2. Special reminder to comrades in the north. If you come to Hangzhou in the summer, remember that the heat in the south is not a concept or level at all. Places with rows of trees and gurgling water may be more depressing. To cool off, stay in open water or mountain passes. Windy is king. When there is no wind after the rain, cars
5. Longjing Scenic Area is not recommended. No matter at the train station, bus station or bus station around West Lake, there are always countless "enthusiastic people" trying their best to lead you to Longjing Village. Taxi drivers enjoy going to Longjing Village, especially Longjing Village Committee, and are even willing to charge less. There is something fishy here, which can be seen in many strategies.
However, "enthusiastic people" have nothing to do every day, and a large number of taxi drivers don't go anywhere and only recognize Longjing tea. Presumably you won’t just say “don’t buy it” and get away with it, nor will you easily let go of 300 or 500 yuan. By the way, Hangzhou locals now go to Meijiawu to drink tea. Although it's not true, at least the safety factor is higher.
6. Leifeng Pagoda was rebuilt. For example, the Leifeng Pagoda, which was originally the old woman's, has collapsed. The picture is collected in the Gushan Hall of Zhejiang Museum. As one of the few "ancient towers" that can be climbed up by elevator, Leifeng Pagoda is not the only lake viewing point. Moreover, if West Lake during holidays can be called hell, it must be the Broken Bridge and Leifeng Pagoda on the 18th floor. Therefore, student parties with limited budget can consider whether to buy tickets to climb the tower. In the final analysis, Leifeng Pagoda and Zhubao Pagoda are the finishing touches of the West Lake scenery. Their significance lies in overlooking rather than mocking.
7. In the cultural landscape around Hangzhou, there are very few historical relics in the true sense. However, the cultural connotation of many scenic spots, such as the traditional "Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake", cannot be diluted even if the original site is remodeled, reconstructed or even copied. Many second-rate landscapes have a certain degree of repetition. If you are short of time, you can choose them. For example, if you go to Hupao, you don’t necessarily have to go to Yuquan. If you climb Leifeng Pagoda and Baoshi Mountain, it doesn’t matter if you don’t go to Huangcheng Pavilion.
8. The time of the West Lake Musical Fountain is frequently adjusted, and the time given by Baidu Encyclopedia is not absolutely accurate. There are many people watching the musical fountain. If you want to take pictures, it is best to squeeze to both sides when choosing a seat and try to grab a stone chair, so that the entire fountain can be captured in the camera lens of your mobile phone. If it is a holiday, gay people with children should not grab the front row. Beware of extremes of joy and sadness.
9. The Six Harmonies Pagoda is located north of the Yangtze River, not south of the Yangtze River. The location marked on the Amap map is wrong.
10. Hupao Spring is not the pool with Tiger Head, but the glass-covered stone well behind the pool. There is a water point in Huquan, but citizens waited in long lines with pure buckets. Tourists who come and go in a hurry, don’t expect too much from joining in the fun.
1. Hangzhou has regulations on temple incense. Every paid temple is prohibited from taking out incense, and the ticket comes with three fragrant flowers. Therefore, never buy incense outside the temple. If you don’t buy it for a dollar, you will buy it in vain.
12. Tickets for Lingyin Temple Scenic Area (i.e. Feilai Peak) are 45 yuan, and tickets for Lingyin Temple are 30 yuan, which means you need to buy two tickets to enter Lingyin Temple. After entering Lingyin Scenic Area, you can first go up the mountain from the trail next to the tour guide map at the entrance, visit the nearby Qinglin Cave, then return to the main road and tour along the main road. Basically, you can see most of the valuable landscapes. Feng Fei is not a flying rock, and there is no special scenery at the top of the mountain. Lingsi Temple is very famous, with magnificent architecture and hardware facilities. It is very famous among Chinese Han temples. But it has a strong commercial atmosphere and basically exists as an attraction. You must go to Lingyin Temple to see its Hall of Five Hundred Arhats.
13. If you want to worship Buddha, you can choose Sansanzhu near Lingyin Scenic Area.
14. Xixi Wetland is somewhat famous, but the scenery is still not beautiful. The wetland is divided into two parks, East Park and West Park, which are managed separately and run independently. Most people choose Dongyuan. Tickets for the Eastern District include Gaozhuang's small ticket. Each entrance and exit of the scenic spot is allowed to enter and exit once on the day, so the ticket must be collected. If you are on a budget for a half-day tour of Xixi, it is recommended to start the tour from the entrance of Zhoujia Village in the East District, where you can get a glimpse of fishing villages like Yanshui. Go to the attractions in Shentankou
15. Summer lasts forever, but many museums will not wait for people. Pay attention to the closing time of each museum, which is basically 4-5 pm. Around the West Lake, Baopuzidaoyuan, Jingci Temple, King Qian Memorial Hall, Xiling Seal Society, and the famous former residence of Hu Xueyan closed early.
16. Hu Xueyan’s former residence is a typical Jiangnan garden, with ravines in front of it. After entering, look at the tour guide map on the back of the ticket and strictly follow the tour route, otherwise you will get lost within 5 minutes.
Others
1. Hangzhou tours basically revolve around West Lake and its surroundings. For convenience, you must live around West Lake. Western Hunan and West Lake are good places with green trees and beautiful scenery, and are naturally occupied by some high-end resorts and hotels.
Moreover, these areas are relatively sparsely populated, so restaurants and shopping can only be paid at least twice the normal price in hotels, and public transportation often does not count. Therefore, it is not recommended for backpackers and student parties to live in this area. It is recommended to stay in the lakeside area east of West Lake and west of Zhonghe Road, or in the area of ??Baoli Road, Shuguang Road and Tianmushan Road north of West Lake.
2. Children’s boots from the north. If you come to Hangzhou in summer, you must bring more clothes. Because the weather in Hangzhou is humid in summer, all clothes must be changed at least every day. It is inconvenient to wash clothes in the hotel, and even if you wash them, it is extremely difficult to dry them in such high humidity weather, so be sure to bring extra clothes.
3. Be sure to bring toilet water, sesame oil and the like. Repellent mosquitoes in densely wooded areas such as Xixi Wetland, Baoshi Mountain, Feilai Peak, etc., and seek help when there are signs of heat stroke. Even so, it is best not to wear short skirts and shorts when going to the above places.
4. Be sure to bring a useful fan. Each of the four great talents in Jiangnan has a fan, not only to look cool, but also an absolute necessity when visiting scenic spots in the summer.
5. Be sure to bring diarrhea medicine. Drink plenty of water every day, especially iced drinks, and diarrhea is almost inevitable. On sauna days with the hottest temperatures, you cannot swim in West Lake with only warm water. You need to drink sports drinks with salt and sugar in moderation.
6. Because of the eight regulations, many high-end hotels around West Lake have lowered their prices and introduced affordable dishes. People can also try it occasionally, such as the Majestic Hotel.
7. In addition to the restaurants on the tip of your tongue, there are many good small noodle restaurants in Hangzhou. You can look for it on Dianping, and you don’t have to wait in line for hours in one or two stores. Personally recommend Chong'er Noodle House.
Eat
Queue at the hotel: This is normal in Hangzhou. The stores with the most queues in Hangzhou are 1. Grandma’s House 2. Celebrities 3. Bailuyuan 4. Louwailou. I want to eat a Hangzhou cuisine. In fact, Wang Runxing and Yuan Kuiguan are old brands and not many people go there.
West Lake: near Jinyong Gate. I only recommend Starbucks, pasta and another coffee whose name I forgot. I don’t recommend eating there, it’s a bit expensive.
Teahouse: The characteristic culture of Hangzhou is actually a cafeteria. After paying for a cup of tea, you can eat buffets and fruits. Of course, the food quality is mediocre and it only makes you feel full. The advantage is that the fee is fixed (50-60 per person), and it is suitable for meeting and chatting. If you have eaten there, I recommend going to Huimin Road and the teahouse. An elegant place that won't let you down.
Coffee: There are many quiet and unique coffee shops in Hangzhou. Don't go to Cross-Strait Coffee, the lights are dim and the atmosphere is ambiguous. It is recommended to go to Beta Coffee on Wen'er Road and Tongpu Road, Coffee Pillow on Laodong Road, and Phoebe Coffee upstairs on Xinhua Bookstore on Fengqi Road.
There are two places where it is not recommended to stay up late: 1. Huanglong Food Stall. 2. The service at Sichuan Taste View on Huansha Road is extremely poor and outrageous.
Recommended places to stay up late: 1. Opposite the north gate of Desheng Polytechnic, New Triumph BBQ; 2. Charcoal-grilled oysters, farm-grilled fish, and corned beef on Hedong Road; 3. Yunshui Tea Restaurant on the first floor of the Friendship Hotel on Huansha Road. I heard it is no longer there, so I ate a lot Delicious shop. 4. There is a food street at the intersection of Tangwan Road and Wenyi Road.
Have a formal date with the girl you like: eat a buffet of Western food, of course. The tables are clean and you can eat delicious food without the hassle of ordering. You can extend your meal time as you like.
Beer: Jinxihu is recommended. The bottle is big, highly concentrated, and cheap. But profits are low, and most hotels either don’t sell it or don’t freeze it. The remaining green rain, Qiandao Lake, red stone beams, and snowflakes are all in small bottles, with a faint smell of wine, and you can really drink them without getting drunk.
Xinfeng Snacks: Xinfeng Snacks are the most popular and affordable snacks among Hangzhou residents.
The best dumpling restaurant: Located on Tianmushan Road, opposite the south gate of Zhejiang University Xixi Campus, this is a dumpling restaurant opened by Shandong people. It is chewy, rich in fillings and delicious. To my regret, it only has one store.
