How are artificial stones made? What kind do you have?

Artificial stone is a solid surface material with methyl methacrylate (MMA) or unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) as the matrix, filled with special natural mineral powder AL(OH)3 and calcium carbonate (CaCO3), and added with pigments and other additives-mineral-filled polymer composite.

Product classification:

1, according to the board matrix resin is divided into two types:

PMMA: Solid surface material (acrylic acid) based on polymethyl methacrylate.

UPR: solid surface material based on unsaturated polyester resin.

2. According to different fillers, UPR can be divided into three types.

UP class: 100% solid flour with special AL(OH)3 as filler (pure UP class).

Semi-calcium: A solid filler (semi-calcium and semi-aluminum) composed of special AL(OH)3 and calcium carbonate (CaCO3).

Total calcium: solid flour (pure calcium powder) with 100% calcium carbonate (CaCO3) as filler.
